He freaking bought me the Canon Rebel XTI with some CRAZY AS* lens!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGG he's the BESTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (He couldn't contain himself had to give it to me b4 x-mas) lolololol I am psyched!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XOXOXO Kitty

Congrats! That's an awesome gift - that's on my wishlist as my joint Christmas and Bday gift (it's the same day!) and I know DH looked at it but not sure if he'll get it for me since we said we are NOT doing crazy gifts this year!

It's actaully just a camera body and you have to buy lenses to use it. An SLR will allow you greater control over your images than a point and shoot.
