On your anniversary???

Will you go back to your reception site for a visit? DH and I went to Flowerfield last year, and I want to go back again. I am so in love with that place!

I doubt it since we don't live in NY.

If we're ever in NY for our anniversary we would probably go to PJCC for dinner.

no. There's no restaraunt at my hall and it's not worth the toll money just to pass by and eat in the neighborhood.

I'd like to but we're not in NY anymore and I don't think they do dinners

I would LOVE to go back to Raphael for our anniversay, spend the weekend on the North Fork wine tasting....but, we will have a set of 2-month old twins then (God willing) so I doubt we will be doing that!! We'll probably be lucky if we can share a glass of wine together peacefully!!

I'd love to, also. Everytime we pass the Watermill I kind of do this sigh thing...it holds a special feeling for us. :)

We probably will - our hall has a restaurant in it.

Nope. It was in a synagogue, and there's no restaurant there.

I wanted to go back to the GWM for our six month anniversary (which was Friday) but we decided that we didn't want to fight traffic. There is an excellent steakhouse down the block from us so we went there instead.

I would love to go for dinner there someday, though. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant. Unfortunately we will not be living on LI when our 1 year rolls around.

My parents had their reception at the Wheatley Hills Tavern (now OOB) and they used to go there for their anniversary quite often. They used to drag us sometimes too. We were so bratty and didn't understand the sentiment.

Ours doesn't have a restuarant but they have something on NYE so we might go there next year or Valentines Day.

Re: On your anniversary???

YES! We've been making it a tradition now since our first wedding anniversary. We go there once a year on our wedding anniversary to make it more special. We have our anniversary dinner there and meet with the banquet manager for a chat because Caffé on the Green is a restaurant. We LOVE our reception venue!

Nope. We are going to try and find something different. Although I am going to put my dress on for fun.

I think we will go back to Westbury Manor. If I could convince DH, maybe we will spend a weekend at the Inn at Fox Hollow or something and then have dinner ar WM on Monday night (our anniversary)

I would like to - but not this year, maybe next year. We have a cruise planned for this year - our 1st.

Re: On your anniversary???

Probably not for our 1 year, b/c we might go away.

But I am glad we got married at tthe Milleridge, so we can go back to the grounds where took all the pictures ( which was actually in front of the restauarnt & the shops)

I always thought it would be nice to get married ina public place, like the Botanical Gardens or something, so you could go back, so I think this works out well.
