I went once the whole day, and my MOH and BM helped....and we laughed the whole time!

I'm so surprised by those of you who took the dress off!!

ETA: It's not like it was an option for me in my lace up back - it took long enough to get it perfect!!

It was easiest for me because it was a zipper back. I was also afraid of part of the dress winding up in the toilet!

Uh, immediately!!! But after that only 1 time I think. Then I held it until we got to the hotel. My mom helped me both times but didn't need to do much - I used the straddle technique (thank you nferrandi!)

only 1 time, at the END of the night when my reception was over!!!

I think that since I was dancing so much and running around so much, my body just absorbed everything I drank!

edited to add: I put my gown on at 12 noon. I didn't have to go until 12:30 am.

You know, I don't know how I managed. But I always have to go often. And I had a lot of wine that night, which I am sure didn't help!

My dress had a detachable train, and once bustled, it was easy for me to manage on my own.

Once I got into my dress, I don't recall going to the bathroom more than once and that was during the reception. By that time, I had taken off the train and removed my crinolin so I didn't need any help. I have a bladder of steal

I went once. DH helped me step out of my dress and slip and guarded the bridal suite door so I could go. It was the easiest way!

I did that too.

I went before the dress was on and not ONCE after!!!!! It was the first thing I did when we got back to the hotel though!!

Thankfully only twice since I usually go all the time.
The first time my mother helped me back that thing up towards the toilet in the hotel room. The second time during the CH in the bridal suite my husband held my dress up as he shook in fear of dropping it. Luckily the bathroom was huge and we lived together beforehand.

It was a zipper and eye hook and it was soooo easy to get into and out of. My bridal attendant was awesome and made it quick and painless!

I think I might've only gone twice, amazingly enough! Usually my little bladder can't hold out that long.

I went before the church then when we got to the hall, I went during the CH. Once we got into the reception room I didn't want to miss anything so I didn't go.

ETA: My MOH helped me before the church and shockingly DH helped me while we were in the suite for the CH.
