One month since the wedding and in a slump.....

...it has been so hard to get back to reality. Going back to work has been awful....we are not really interested in hanging out with anyone...all we want to do is stay home and veg. together. Is that bad??

We both thought we would have a new vigor to get back to work and start saving for a house. Instead we are antsy since we have nothing big to occupy our time.... so we come home from work and talk about buying the house we do not have $$$ for.

Next thing I know we will be talking about having kids that we had planned on not having for a few years. What is this post-wedding boredom???

It is totally normal to be in a 'funk' after the wedding. It also sounds like you guys have the 'Wow we are married', thing going on. I remember looking at DH, and thinking (not that I didn't know this already but it was just different after the wedding) Wow he is going to be the father of my children, we will buy a house together, and one day get a dog together, wow! Enjoy it, the time together. If you guys are 'bored' take up a hobby together, something bond over!!

BTW-- LOVE YOUR PICTURE IN YOUR PROFILE!! SOOOOOOO PRETTY!

the funk is normal...and the staying home together....definitely a married thing! That's all we do and I love it!

totally normal! We are both completely uninterested in work now.

We went from going out to do wedding stuff EVERY night to coming from work and trying to figure out what to do.

But, we do A LOT of entertaining. We have people over EVERY weekend- or we go to some party or function. It helps keep things fun!
