One Year Anniversary....

Hi ladies....

Yesterday was our first year anniversary. I cant believe its been a year already....

BUT...my gram passed the day before so I found it impossible to celebrate. I was super close with her, so at this point I feel like I literally lost a parent. Her wake is today....im nauseated, shaking...lost.

It made mad sad just thinking about our anniversary....we left this past thursday and went away to VA to see my family and do things for our anniversary weekend but as soon as we got the news we came home.

Im so thankful that I had my gram for 26 years...and I hope God helps me and my family through these next few days

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I know exactly how you feel. DH lost his father three days before our anniversary and we had the wake on our anniversary with the burial the day afterwards. Not really the way you want to spend your anniversary, but what other choice did we have when other people are making the arrangements?

Take your time to grieve and in a couple of weeks when the initial shock wears off do something special with your DH to mark the occasion.
