Yesterday was our first year anniversary. I cant believe its been a year already....
BUT...my gram passed the day before so I found it impossible to celebrate. I was super close with her, so at this point I feel like I literally lost a parent. Her wake is today....im nauseated, shaking...lost.
It made mad sad just thinking about our anniversary....we left this past thursday and went away to VA to see my family and do things for our anniversary weekend but as soon as we got the news we came home.
Im so thankful that I had my gram for 26 years...and I hope God helps me and my family through these next few days
but still congrats on your 1 year mark - maybe you can celebrate later. . .

I am so sorry for your loss. Try to enjoy the anniversary just a little. Maybe do something small to celebrate. Or postpone it to next week when you are feeling a little better.

I'm so glad she was with you for so long and was there to share your wedding day with you. You can celebrate your marriage more when you're ready to celebrate again. Just take your time to feel what you need to for now. Much love!

Thank you everyone for the nice words :O). We had her wake today and she looked absolutly beautiful...
I lived through the first day, but im not looking forward to tomorrow at all.
