nope. We agreed to sell first, then look for a house. We went to a few open houses in LI but the brokers wouldn't take us seriously since we hadn't sold our apt yet. Thanks for the words of encouragement!

That is the smart way to go! The couple we bought our coop from had already bought a house...so they were paying two mortgages and a maintence as a result we got an awesome price on our place bc they had to sell.

I'll keep my ears open for anyone looking to buy in bayside

I feel your pain...my sis is selling her house and has had so many open houses . It truly suxx.
