Based on what I have heard, is there any proof that she was raped.

Or was she simply star struck? and maybe he took advantage of that

Well I don't blame either of them right now b/c they have not really let out evidence to the public.

However I hate the way everyone are getting on this girl. I could care less about her past. Prostitutes get raped.

I agree he was wrong for cheating on his wife, but I think its hard with his fame, money and power. That goes for a woman also

I don't buy the money, fame and power thing as a valid excuse for him (sorry, wacky)

just because he CAN have any girl he wants doesn't mean he SHOULD. Why get married then?

Im not using it as an excuse, was he married before becoming successful.

I do believe that power, fame, money can take a toll on people.

Call it a weak personality but it happens all the time.

He cheated and he had no right and he is an adult and should know right from wrong but fame and success can make you rotten

I think he is wrong for cheating on his wife, but in all honesty that is between the two of them.

I'm disgusted that people would actually not belueve the woman without knowing anything...can you imagine IF she was raped and people are tleling her she's just saying it for the money?

I honestly don't think we have enough information to decide either way. Nor do I think it is my right to decide whether a women I have never met before has been raped. I was not with her in the ER. I do not have access to her medical charts. What the media reports and what doctors actually say can be two very different things.
I don't care how powerful, famous, rich etc.. you are- rape is rape, no means no!
I do not believe in making a women out as a $lut because she has been raped. I just know that some X will come on TV and say 'she cheated on me and was loose' and then people will think the girl is a ***** regardless of anything else. So sad.
And the worst is that women turn against women in times like this. Rape is a crime of power, not $ex, so when a big-time guy like Kobe wants $ex,yes he can get it easily BUT rape is not about the $ex.

I don't have enough information on this case, but from other previous scandals its obvious that either party could be guilty. There is no excuse for rape, but so many people try to take advantage of actors and their $, that I don't know for sure if I want to believe the girl either.

Not knowing all the details and (theoretically) believing in 'innocent until proven guilty'...I blame Kobe for cheating on his wife.

As for the rape allegations...I find it disgusting that woman, in particular, and the media are trying to put the (alleged) victim on trial before any more thruths come out.

Kobe is the one who said vows and made a commitment. He didn't keep his promise to his wife. He's the one in the wrong. Baaaaaad Kobe.

Whether or not it was consentual, I don't know. I'm not sure anyone can REALLY ever know in cases like this. Glad I won't be on the jury.

I do think it is Kobe's fault this is happening, but I do not think he raped her. If he did, then he should rot in hell, but I think the only thing he is guilty of is being unfaithful...

also, Kobe is an idiot because his wife is gorgeous!!!!!I do not think the girl could be any prettier than her, so he was just horny!!
