Options for thank you cards

I just went to my photographer tonight. He was showing me the new stock cards with the thank you picture imposed directly on it. I like them, but I am wondering if people would rather have a wallet picture that they can frame, verse the card. The card I am talking about is not glossy, it almost looks like a computer image. Of course, it is also more $. I would appreciate everyone's opinion!

Re: Options for thank you cards

I keep all the wallet pictures in an album so I voted for the traditional card with picture inserted.

Re: Options for thank you cards

i think the cards with the image printed on them are great - but i would throw it out eventually.....so it's kind of a waste of money. the traditional allows the person to hold onto a smaller picture.
but it's pretty much your personal taste!

Re: Options for thank you cards

We decided to do the picture on the card. Although I know poeple will toss it eventually, I do the same thing with the pictures.

It's one thing to send a picture to my grandmother, but I don't think my friends from work are going to keep & frame a picture of us.

We also wanted to do the card because it is different.

We did the picture on the card, and got a lot of compliments on them.

Re: Options for thank you cards

I like the traditional because people who want the picture can keep it with more ease than the whole card.
