Have you ever ordered contact lenses online? What was your experience like? Did you really save some ? Were you required to submit a perscription? TIA!

i've ordered from 1 800 contacts..
you do need a prescription from your doctor and be fitted for a brand of contacts.. its easy to follow when you start the process online as far as ordering contacts..
your eye doctor may match the prices listed on line..

I love 1800 contacts and have used them for years. I am pretty sure that even if you don't have a Rx in hand that they can call & confirm it with your Dr.

Yes you need a Rx I used 1800 contacts,Lens.com and costal contacts. all very good and yes you save money as opposed to going to the Dr. and purchasing from them.

i use vision direct online (just ordered tonite) but my sis told me tonite that 1800contacts has better deals. you can find coupons for ordering online which is great. also they usually only require your doctors name and number and they call to verify your prescrip each time.

Yep....same here. You can even find coupon codes online for discounts.
