OSCAR NIGHT!

Hey ladies, it's Oscar night. Anyone having parties, going to a party or watching. I haven't seen any of the movies , but love the red carpet and too see who wins.

Any opinions on winners and such???

I'm watching but just to see what everyone is wearing. I haven't seen many of the movies

same for me. we just haven't been able to get out to see any.

I'm watching, but I realize now that I haven't seen ANY of the nominated movies!!! Well, at least I saw Enchanted which has a nominated song!

I love watching the dresses, hair, makeup, and jewelry!!!

Me too! Hair and dresses that is. I LOVED katherine Heigel's gown and Anne Hathaway's. I love it when actresses go 'Old Hollywood.' I cannot stand when they start making it all trendy and popstarish. Its the dang OSCARS!!!! Go for elegance people!

Katherine Heigel looked gorgeous! I loved her dress

I believe that it was the woman from that Micheal Claton movie. I can't pronounce her name, so I'm not even going to attempt to spell it.

okay so i thought Katherine Heigl looked absolutely beautiful, but i'm just getting tired of that look on her. she ALWAYS does the classic hollywood glam. classic hollywood hairdo, with the classic style dress and the red lipstick. I think she's BEAUTIFUL in that genre, but it's just like 'c'mon..do something different!'

True but if it works for her, better to go with what she knows than a fashion disaster, especailyl because she's currently the Hollywood 'it' girl-all eyes are always on her.

Renee Zwellwegger (sp?) always looks gorgeous as well. She generally wears thhe same style of dress; slimmer columns but with differet details and colors so she loosk diff. But I think if yuo know a look works for you, experiment within that look but to go with current trends that dont work for you, its a fashion horror. Like me and Skinny jeans!

u are too funny jenn! yea i agree - she's doing what works for her...i'm just saying LOVED the gown...but all she had to do was a soft updo & change the makeup a tad & she still would've looked gorgous but had a different look all at the same time? regardless she still looked beautiful. skinny jeans lol - i totally hear u on that! us booty/thigh/hip girls can't always rock them....luckily i found a pair from guess that are fab....a big trick, wear them with heals! If i wear my skinnies with flats it's a horror, but throw on a high hot pair of peek-a-boo toe heels? looks hot! i swear!

I went to see a movie last night so I missed the whole red carpet. I was home in time to see Daniel Day-Lewis win his oscar. I LOVE HIM. I would watch him watch paint dry and it would be the best movie ever!!!

i also think jennifer garner looked beautiful







oh & where was keira knightly?? was she m.i.a.??

I thought it was HORRIBLE. Her hair looked so bad. I didn't like her outfit or how boney she looks, but her hair really was the kicker.


And I agree about Katherine Heigl - LOVEDDDD the gown on her - gorgeous. However, I was not a fan of that hairstyle with the gown and to be honest I thought the red lipstick was too orangey - a bit off. She's beautiful, but I would have liked different hair and lipcolor.

too much bronzer on her cheeks too!(either that or it was just too brown of a blush)...in the photo above it doesn't look as drastic as it did on tv...almost looked 'dirty' as opposed to her normally gorgous golden glow
