What was your favorite wedding you have been to as a guest?
My favorite wedding was my sisters wedding in Maine. On LI I loved my sister in laws wedding at Timberpoint.

My oldest brother's wedding was my fave, it was over 10 years ago and i can still remember how awesome the food was and the band and how much fun I had.

I would have to say DH's cousin's wedding near San Jose, CA. It was a fine time. She rented out a whole place to play bocce ball(sp?) for her RD and let's just say we had a good old drunk time.
Even though she got married at her parents ranch house it was spectacular. Everything was so detailed and the food was great. Plus I loved visiting Cali too.

I can only remember the one I hated the most, btu that was due to family tension!

def my 2 sisters and my mom and step dad's weddings. they were all just very meaningful in diff ways and had such a diff feel to them. (pics below..sorry so many)
my middle sis got married first. they got preggo while engaged and planning their wedding so it got moved up and was planned quickly but it was such a nice intimate wedding. it was the first wedding i ever went to and the first time i was in the BP. it was especialy meaningful bc my dad was very sick at the time (brain cancer) but he at least made it to see one of his daughters get married. she got to dance with him. it was very emotional.
my oldest sis had a HUGE extravagant, elegant wedding at Florentine Gardens in NJ. i knew i wanted a small wedding but it was awesome to be a part of a bigger one. she looked gorgeous and i loved all her details.
and it was just so cool to be at my mom's wedding. to see her find love again. and it had such a nice relaxing feel to it as well. it was at 'the restaurant' in NJ which has yummy food too.

probably my best friend's wedding at the Milleridge Inn...amazing food, great band, tons of fun even though the bouquet was snatched from me by an old lady

one of my best friends was married in Santa Barbara. SO GORGEOUS. She married a man whose family is from India and it was probably the most interesting and beautiful wedding. Their culture allows for over the TOP weddings. The groom even rode in on a horse!! It was SO fun!

A friend of Pete's. It was at Naninas in the Park in NJ-very lavish and I have NEVER seen a spread like that at any wedding. The desrt alone..LORD! Zeppole station, wafflle station, 2 chocolate fountains, ice cream sundae station, gelatto station, fresh fruit, italian pastries and cookies..You name it they had it. Im a foodie so i was in heaven.

My friend's wedding in San Fran back in 2006. It was a nontraditional ceremony held on a Rodeo Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean with the reception held at the Headlands Institute.
Every inch of the wedding was DIY and the love was flowing out of everything. It was a beautiful wedding and I'll never forget how happy my friend was.

My fav wedding was a destination wedding in Estes Park, CO for a friend of mine from college. He got married at the Stanley Hotel which is the white hotel featured in 'The Shining'. It was October so it was kinda Halloween-ish. I didn't go on the 'ghost tour' of the hotel the night before the wedding though.
Besides the fact that the scenery was gorgeous, it was a Greek wedding with lots of traditional greek dancing and music and all the non-Greeks like myself had a ball trying to do the dancing in the circle. There were a lot of old friends from college there so it almost felt like a reunion too.

My sister's wedding was great... one in italy and one here (Harrison House)... i also had a great time at my friend Tara's wedding at Jericho Terrace... the wedding where i thought was super classy and had nice details was a family friend's wedding at Garden City Hotel.
