got one a few years ago. i forgot how much it hurts. i usually have a high tolerance for pain. last time i had to take the test 3x (everything was fine). God help me i hope i don't have to go back

I had a baseline at 35, then started my annual ones at 40. They are uncomfortable, but are so very important. I don't mind the sqeezing of the boobies too much , it's when they have to catch some of the flesh under your armpits to get the nodes in. Ouch.
Reminds me that I have to call for my appointment.

If you have a history of breast cancer in your family you start getting them earlier, my mother had breast cancer so Im going to get my first one this year (Im 30).

Ah, yes, the oh-so-lovely mammogram; been there, done that!! It's so very important to have done but God, can't they come up with a better way? I have to go again soon.

If guys had to have their parts checked this way, you'd be darn sure that a better test would be developed. That, or insurance companies would cover MRIs of the boobs.
