Our DJ gave out our phone number to a solicitor!

Beware of this! I got a call on my cell phone during a lovely dinner out with DH tonight from an Insurance company who told me they got my number from Aboslute Entertainment (the DJ we hired for our wedding). I plan on calling them (Absolute) tomorrow to complain. Has anything like this happened to anyone else?? Must we always specify that information is NOT to be shared??
I am pretty steamed about this...

I haven't had that happen. But, what a scummy thing to do! And, your DJ probably SOLD, not gave, your information to other companies

You are so right......and we had already put up a negative post about the DJ and they got all upset...so I changed it after listening to their side of the story....but now I am just so angry. I feel like they invaded my privacy. I only give my cell umber to very select people - it's really my work phone. And no, Allstate Sales People are NOT part of the select few!!
