Paint Suggestions

The bathroom in the new apartment is somewhat hideous.
I believe the walls are a light yellow..but the floor tile is a light brown, with small light yellow round tiles here and there.

All of my bathroom stuff is blue (rugs, soap dispenser, etc).
To me, the light brown & blue accessories kind of sort of match my want for a beach themed bathroom...

DH has agreed to let me paint this one room....

I need suggestions for a color! Should I just leave it alone or just paint it beige? Or should I be a lil more daring?

I agree. Depending on how much blue or you have in your accessories, you might be able to go a shade or two darker too to make the other colors pop. Otherwise going the same shade works.

luckily right now our bathroom has white tiles and the walls are beige....
The new bathroom is straight out of the 80s

We have 2 rugs, a soap dispenser, tooth brush holder, cup & garbage can all in blue..


I wish i had a picture of the new bathroom..
But it looks like we'll go for a light blue or a light brown

I have a blue and brown bathroom and i painted the walls with behr - cumberland fog...

honestly i wouldnt throw another color in there. I would definitely stick to an earth tone. Like a beige or even better a taupeish or something in the light brown area. So u have it very earthy in there.

that is my bathroom set but in purple

I was going to say if your going for a beach theme, especially if it has light yellow tiles in it to leave it yellow and get bright cheery towels that carry the blue and yellow into the bathroom. But since you have stuff already, I think you have to paint it.

But be careful, painting it blue with the yellow tiles could look even worse. Sometimes with bathrooms your just stuck with the color theme you get and should just accept it and run with it.
