passport question (post office related)

do i need to go to a post office that does 'passport services'? or can i just go to any post office to drop off my application

i dont understand the difference

please helP! let me know what you did!

i wanted to go this saturday AM to a 'passport services' USPS, but i didnt get out of bed. lol

i think u go to the PO to apply for a passport. when i had to renew my passport (and when i changed my name) i just filled out the application online, printed it out and went to the PO to get it mailed out certified.

What she said! You only have to go to one that does Passport Services if this is your first time getting your passport or your passport is lost/stolen. Renewals/name changes can be mailed from anywhere.
