patken proof question

for ladies who used patken, how long after your wedding did you get your proofs? on the website, where it says 'event date', was that the date of your wedding or just the date they put the proofs online? just curious because I have gotten two different answers from them

i got my proofs about 4-6 weeks after my wedding. i called them after 4 weeks because i couldnt remember if i was supposed to call them. they date on the website is the date of your event. i am not sure if they put all pics on the website, bc i had to ask them to put them on website.

i would call them and check on the status of your proofs...it cant hurt.

thanks, that is what I did, I just called them because I wasn't sure if they had my number in florida and perhaps were trying to contact me....the website has a TON of weddings posted with the event dates listed as 7/14 7/21 7/28 8/4 8/8 etc.....my wedding was 7/14 so I asked why mine weren't up yet, she gave me some crap about the 'event date' being the date they put them online, not the date of the event......fine if that is true, but a little misleading and asking for complaints if you ask me

...I am just mad at them because the photog lost his lense in the church, disappeared for almost an hour, made me miss the entire cocktail hour and then stepped right in the middle of my bouquet before the reception started :(

I'm still waiting for my proofs too. They told me they would call me as soon as they come in. I am patiently waiting. But I do think you had to specifically ask them to get the pictures put online

Yes. You do have to ask them to put them online. They don't automatically go up and won't unless you request it

thanks, yes I requested them to be online because I am living out of state......the reason I called was to just check in because I wasn't sure if they had my correct phone number here, and because of the discrepency between what they say on the phone and the 'event dates' they already have posted....they said nothing past the first week in july is finished but the website has event dates well past that already up so I was just making sure they weren't finished all ready, no biggie, I can wait

Event date should be the date of your wedding
I got my proofs in 2 weeks
This is the part tht ***** with Patken - the whole album, proof process is horrific with them
But the end result is usually fine
