i just hate looking at it if its all messed up. Around the house i cant wear socks it just bothers me and if my polish on my toes look bad i cant stand it, just makes the feet look bad lol and dont even like Dh to see it looking like that. I dont pay for it though so helps lol, if i want it done professionally i have my mom do it. But I LOVE doing it myself most of the time and i do the whole thing. I get out the foot soaker, put a little palmolive in it, i cut the cuticles, also have the oil for the cuticle treatment, file them, buff them, clean underneath, scrub the bottom, theres also this rock type thing that is great for cuticles that are on your nail like on the top part that will grow on your nail itself and comes right off with that. I also know how to put polish on very well and when i tell people i do it myself theyre surprised. I dont know why but i like doing it myself, even though i am able to even go to a salon and get it free i still dont most of the time.

During the winter, i usually get them done once or twice every other month. I maintain inbetween.

I just re-read that and it sounds gross but, I guess I'm fortunate....my feet don't get that bad.

I hardly ever get on in the winter! Doesn't seem worth it when they are constantly covered with socks!

Same here - maybe I get it done every other month?? IF that? Even manicures ... I don't really get them all that often anymore, but in winter it's even less.

At the salon, maybe once a month. I always fear ruining my toes when I put my shoes on in the winter and I can't wear flip flops in the winter lol...sometimes do my own at home....nothing special, just cuticle oil, push back my cuticles, then a polish change.
