People were complaining when we didnt have them within a month. Um we were away for two weeks. People used the excuse of 'Did they cash my check?' Call your bank for G-d's sake and let me enjoy being a newlywed!

they have a year to send a gift and you have a year to send a thank you.

Shouldn't it be reciprocal?

my mom just complained to me - i'm at like 6 weeks and haven't chosen the photo yet! my family should be out by next week. and then his by the 2 month mark. i think that is fine!

argh..some people complained when they didn't get their thank-yous from my shower after 3 weeks. Jeez, I only work 2 jobs and was planning a wedding!

Under 6months not a problem I just got a thank you card that was from a year ago so yes I was mad they had no problem cashing my check right away!! So I will be thinking twice about ever going to anything for these people because of that! I think it is a respect thing!! JMO
