People that use iTunes

Don't make fun of me because I'm sure this has a simple solution!

I got a new Mac this summer after my old laptop completely died (like I-can't-even-turn-it-on died). All of my music from my old computer is on my iPod, but I've been terrified of trying to put those songs on my new computer. I tried once a couple of months ago, and it said they were 'syncing' but it looked like they were going to erase all the songs from my iPod to sync it instead of putting it on my computer. Is there a way to get my songs from my iPod onto iTunes (on a new computer)?

Im not 100% sure...but I think I recall trying this and you can put songs onto an ipod but not transfer off.

Re: People that use iTunes

from what i remember....your ipod can only be synced to one computer.

if you currently do not have any music in your itunes then when you plug in your ipod it will put all teh music on your ipod into itunes.

if there is music in your itunes on the new comp already then you can do one of two things...1. keep whats on itunes and you cant sync your ipod to that computer or 2. empty your itunes and replace it with the music that is n your ipod.

thats how it worked a few years ago, i beleive its still the same
