DH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo i may have posted something about this before....

DH NEVER added me to his insurance during open enrollment time (before our wedding or at least before we left for the HM) like he was supposed to!

I got rid of my insurance! Like i was supposed to. During my open enrollment time... before the wedding.

We get back from the HM and he then says he will do it!

Well he calls and has a fight with the woman because he missed the enrollment period! UH HELLO I'M PREGNANT NOW!!! I NEED INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!!

So she says he can do it and sends paperwork to us. I fill it out and send it back. He gets the papers late December.... mails them back MONDAY of this week!! And I now lost my insurance as of Dec 31st and I have a dr appt Jan 11!!!!!

Well now we get a call today from the lady... she needs my SSC faxed to her! Why didn't they ask for this with the paperwork?? in late December?? I lost my card. I have no clue where it is!! It's in my house someplace i'm sure... but I just haven't been able to find it for months!!! So now because my appt is this Monday I have to RUN to the ss office to get a new one. This whole thing is sooo annoying because if he did what he was supposed to back in November or if he even send the paper work when he first got it and I completed it and gave it to him in late Dec... I wouldn't be this pressed for time and it wouldn't be this stressful!!

I'M LIVID!!! YOU ARE SOOO ON MY **** LIST TODAY JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now it's going to take 4 to 6 weeks for my to have insurance!!!

When it does go through though it will back track as of the wedding date! but still!!! I have no insurance for my appointment on monday and probably also for the appointment after that!

I call DH to tell him to call the doctor's office to have them work something out (have them bill us or wait to bill us until the insurance kicks in or something because I WILL be covered for this time period at some point).... and he is like 'Can't you call?' UM THIS IS YOUR F*CK UP... WHY SHOULD I FIX IT?? YOU FIX IT!!! Thanks for being lazy and not listening to me every single time I told you to call them and add me and take care of it!!! Jerk!!

He even actually said 'do you want to yell at me again for this?' YES! YES I DO!! Each time I get more bad news I would like to slap you and yell more!!!! Why the heck wouldn't I!! Your lack of responsibilty for this matter is screwing me over and over again... why would you not get yelled at each time I get screwed for this????

This is soooooooooooo frustrating, I would be flipping out just like you. But if ur insurance will be in effect from your wedding date, just take DHs insurance card with you on ur Dr. Appt and tell them you havent received ur own card yet but ur under his policy, they will submit it to the insurance co. and by the time they get all the paperwork from the drs office, your name will already be listed as a member.

If it's retroactive then they will reimburse you for anything you have to lay out in the meantime if it's the same deal that empire told me.

***** that you have to go through this.. I went thru an insurance issue myself when we got married and its just unnessary...BUT try and stay calm not just for your sake but for the baby's sake... I know its easier said than done... but at least there is a solution and you will have coverage! Thats the important thing!

yes it's retroactive.... so i know I'm def covered. It's just up to the dr office to believe me! haha!

I'm sure it's going to work out just fine!

It's just an unnecessary pain in the arse!! BIG TIME!!!! And it shoudln't have happened in the first place. That's more what I'm overall mad about. you can't mess around like that!
