I think i am going to stand my ground and not allow the dog on the bed.
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE dogs! but i just dont think a dog belongs on the bed every night. all i can think about is how dirty their paws are and that their doggy genitals are on the bed! gross!! maybe if they lay on a blanket first? i dont know...
as for the couch, i think i will allow it. i would def. put a blanket down first.
It's a brand new couch so i am very protective and anal over it!

Us too! If she's on the couch in a certain spot it's like, crap now I have to move over here cause she's already there. I know it's sickening but I wouldn't even think to push her away to another spot. We can't even take our coats off when we come home unless we pet her first or she'll howl. She has US trained very well.

Yes .. Guests in our Cat's home. I do move the cat when she is on the couch but she yells at me and gives me back talk! I pretend. to be in charge anyway.

pur dog is not allowed on the couch - we have leather and she would just scratch it up - we got leather on purpose so we wouldn't have hair on the sofas.
she was never allowed on the bed, but dh loves having her on the bed so she's allowed sometimes but always on top of the covers

We have a pitbull and chihuahua and this prob sounds biased but the chihuhahua is allowed on the couch and sleeps in bed with us while our pitbull is not allowed. Our pit sheds a lot and likes to lick and lick the same spot (any fabric-over and over again (kinda skeeves me)

OMG someone should video tape us! Sometimes DH and I are sitting on top of eachother taking up like two inches of the couch bc Brutus is all stretched out and sleeping. . .

Our cats are monsters. They dont go on the counters because they know Mommy would lose her everlovin mind, but they run all over our couches and chase one another and Simon (11month old) likes to snuggle on the couch with me or in bed with me.
He likes to be under the covers but we have tw blankets so I let him between that only so he doesn't go on the base sheet. We just do a lot of laundry and love our vaccum attachment or the bedspread.

My dog goes where ever she wants. Yes, it is a bit gross what you think about it, but I love having her in the bed.
Especially when DH isn't here or staying up late.

We have a black lab, she's allowed pretty much everywhere except for on the living room furniture. She likes to lay on our bed but when it's time for us to go to sleep we make her get off and sleep on the floor, of course at some point during the night she jumps back up there.

We have 2 Chihuahas and they sleep under the covers with us.. and most mornings when I wake up, Chico is sleeping on my head on the pillow which he is not allowed to but somehow makes his way up there anyway.. the little *******

Our baby is allowed on the couch and the bed. It's so cute he cuddles up in between DH and I.
But he usually winds up pushing one of us over.

My cat and dog are allowed on both the bed and the couch. Gus sleeps with us for about an hour and then leaves...he would rather sleep in the guest bed (queen) all by himself then with us in the King. Daisy finds it's most comfortable to sleep on my stomach or legs.

Unfortunately DH allowed her on the bed, on the couch and just about anywhere else for that matter. She is a pit so even tho she has long hair she still gets cold (its a thing with pits) so he lets her go under the covers which v me to no end!! But she doesnt do it much anymore b/c I yell at her

we have a cat and two dogs and all three are on our bed when we sleep and basically can go on the coach when they please....We just started to walk them since the weather got nicer but every time they go out they are wipped down(GOOD!) and their paws are cleaned so they dont bring dirt inside the house
