Pet Peeves

What are some of your pet peeves. What really drives you crazy!!!!

1. People that speak in baby voices. A girl I know does not eat lunch she eats 'wunch'.

2. Using foreign terms and pretending it is normal. A girl I worked with did a semester in England. She was away for 2 months and lived with all Americans. When she came back she referred to her house as her flat and the bathroom as the loo. Add on the fake accent I thought I was working with Madonna.

3. Cars with 1 license plate. I don't know why but it annoys me.

4. The denim suit. A denim jacket worn with jeans. It looks like a poor man going on a job interview.

Me Too. I Love the Cheesecake & the Crusted Parmeasean Chicked=n, but I HATE THE WAIT & THE CROWDS!!!!!!

Everytime I go there, I get the Same thing the Crusted Parm. Chicken

ten thousand, five hundred and sixty four dollars

It sounds funny to me without the 'and'

forget it, my invites are done and I dont care...too much thinking involved

Mine said 2000 and 7 then my dad told me it was incorrect after I had them printed up. Mathematically the and signifies a decimal blah blah blah. Since that day i have been trying to find out the correct way and have seen both ways used in invitation catalogs.

YES! Its fine for alittle bit, youkeep the house clean and neat and you are always on top of things, but once its clean and good......there is nothing to do. Your friends are all at work-it gets boring, I have screwed up my days and night 5 times since the beginning of November, there was a week I didnt see any daylight b/c I slept thru the day, its STIIIIIIIIIIINKS!

Mathematically it is the correct word form for the year.

Hmmmm my invites had Two Thousand 'and' Seven. Invite Wording

if that's correct i win and if it's wrong I'm going to sue somebody...

it's OK to write it... Etiquette wise, but not proper grammar. 'and' would imply a decimal.

I don't even remember what my invitations said,.. i'm going to have to run home and look.

Fridays is second my fave of the chain resturants though Im not a chain girl. Houlihans is my ffave. One near where we live and I always find things I like on their menu and Fridays.

She replaced McDonalds (my mom calls it MacDonalds that is slightly a pet peeve)

My mom randomly adds/subtracts syllables to peoples names...My friend Diana, she calls Diane. Marie, she calls Maria. i've given up trying to correct her, we know its a losing battle...

My mom was telling people about her new grandson Dylan over Christmas. That was fine and nice but the kid's name is Declan you would think of all things she would be able to get that right.
