Pet Peeves

What are some of your pet peeves. What really drives you crazy!!!!

1. People that speak in baby voices. A girl I know does not eat lunch she eats 'wunch'.

2. Using foreign terms and pretending it is normal. A girl I worked with did a semester in England. She was away for 2 months and lived with all Americans. When she came back she referred to her house as her flat and the bathroom as the loo. Add on the fake accent I thought I was working with Madonna.

3. Cars with 1 license plate. I don't know why but it annoys me.

4. The denim suit. A denim jacket worn with jeans. It looks like a poor man going on a job interview.

She replaced McDonalds (my mom calls it MacDonalds that is slightly a pet peeve)

My mom randomly adds/subtracts syllables to peoples names...My friend Diana, she calls Diane. Marie, she calls Maria. i've given up trying to correct her, we know its a losing battle...

My mom was telling people about her new grandson Dylan over Christmas. That was fine and nice but the kid's name is Declan you would think of all things she would be able to get that right.

I swear if it's not one thing it's your mother

my mom sometimes calls me my sisters name.. or even the dogs... now thats bad!!
she is losing it

YES! Its fine for alittle bit, youkeep the house clean and neat and you are always on top of things, but once its clean and good......there is nothing to do. Your friends are all at work-it gets boring, I have screwed up my days and night 5 times since the beginning of November, there was a week I didnt see any daylight b/c I slept thru the day, its STIIIIIIIIIIINKS!

oh no... my sister says the same thing.. she does'nt work either. so you must always want to get out of the house when DH comes home.

DH isnt working either, he is studying to take his licensing exam, but besides that no, I actually dont want to go ANYWHERE. Im unmotivated and bored

awww. well at least you get to talk to us everyday!!

yea when people are on
sometimes nothing is going on so Im REALLY bored

I like Outback and Houlihans for chains. We prefer to gp to local non chain places. The menu is not set in stone and the mashed potatoes are real.

I started my Friday's boycott after they did away with Pizzadillas. That was YEARS ago. I'm still bitter about it.

And they took wraps off the menu i have no purpose in life without a wrap.

I heart wraps. There is a place in the city near Columbia that makes this turkey wrap with stuffing and mashed potatoes and cranberry, etc all rolled up. It's like Thanksgiving in a wrap. I could die just thinking about how very far I am from it at this moment.
