Pet Peeves

What are some of your pet peeves. What really drives you crazy!!!!

1. People that speak in baby voices. A girl I know does not eat lunch she eats 'wunch'.

2. Using foreign terms and pretending it is normal. A girl I worked with did a semester in England. She was away for 2 months and lived with all Americans. When she came back she referred to her house as her flat and the bathroom as the loo. Add on the fake accent I thought I was working with Madonna.

3. Cars with 1 license plate. I don't know why but it annoys me.

4. The denim suit. A denim jacket worn with jeans. It looks like a poor man going on a job interview.

Wait was anyone even seriously attacking thin women? I think we were all joking about it unless I missed something in these Flash Gordan boards.

I am a thin girl-size 2/4 as a matter of fact. I dont think anyone was being abrasive?

I know I didnt take it personally, I do know however there was a comment posted about going dress shopping a few months ago that I was offended by but otherwise no harm no foul

I offended you with something to do with dress shopping?

Im 5'7' and range between 100-105 pounds...im really skinny and I HATE it, its not my fault.
Blame it on my parents

Its bad but I eat like a slob, I eat more then most! And its not always good food.

while we're on the subject, one of my pet peeves in life growing up was when people would tell me i was SOOOOOOOOOOOO skinny.

the word skinny to me meant 'sickly'

I dont think people realize underweight people (can) feel just as bad as overweight people when pointed out.

when people STOPPED commenting on my weight is when i thought I HAD a weight problem... it's very weird.

but my reply was purely in jest...

That I understand. I used to be skin and bones when I was younger up until about 20 or so. I actually had an eating disorder from like 18-21 because peopel had always commented on 'how skinny' I was and when I started gainign normal weight I freaked cause wasn't 'skinny' anymore. I'm naturally slim but yea, I wouldnt make serious attacks on anyone's weight/

Elevator hogs.

I just had one... gets on the elevator which has ONE panel of buttons, hit your floor and stand RIGHT IN FRONT of the panel. Don't move, don't ask me what floor I need, and FORCE me to hit your lapel as I SNEAK in to hit my floor. It's all I can do not to slap you with my free hand you clod...

(ooops I meant after)

The G*ds must have liked me b/c after my pregnancy I actually DEVELOPED curves and my boobs went from an A cup to a (very deflated-thanks-to-breastfeeding) C cup.

there's hope, my stick figure friend....

also--- after 30... WOW. I hate that I can't eat microwaved pizza bagels at 11:30pm anymore.

but its good for me b/c I was eating CR*AP all my life.
