Pics of our new house

As some of you may recall, we bought a foreclosure. Well, it's been a few months and we have finally moved in. The place still needs a lot of work, furniture and décor, but it is coming along.

I wanted to post some pictures for you all! There are pros and cons to buying a foreclosure, for sure. For US, it has worked out. If you have time and patience, you can totally get a great house for your money. We paid about 40% less than the house was appraised. Of course we have needed to dump a ton of money back into it to get it back to it’s potential, but we still paid and spent less than if we would have bought a perfect house that needed nothing.

Caroline, awesome job you guys have done!!! As a wife of a builder, I always love seeing houses being brought back to life!!!! My Husband has updated two of our houses, in the past. One had serious damage from a dog. We had to install a new bay window, the old one having been scratched very badly, as well as remove bathroom carpet, that had,..... eeeewwwww, feces on it !!!! Fortunately, underneath was tile/linoleum, that looked brand new!!!! Loveeee the slideshow, and I saved it to my favorites, in case I want to put up pictures some day, as well as see anymore of your updates!!!!!! I had to wonder if previous owners had built this house without any pro help, because of things being off kilter. It looks like there's a hard water problem in that area!!! Our Daughter, Donna rents, and hard water has really damaged appliances/ toilets, etc. How old is this house? It looks relatively new. Congratulations and Blessings!!!!!!! So happy for you!!!!!!! Great pictures! Your daughter's bedroom and play room came out great! Congrats on all the progress...must be tiresome but 100% worth it when it's all done.
