Picture of my first attempt at my wedding scrapbook!
Ahhh - I'm newly addicted to this craft but it's a little overwhelming and frustrating at first!
I re-arranged this layout all afternoon, and I'm still unsure of everything so this has yet to be glued down! LOL I even used photo corners so that I don't ruin my proofs.
This is my first page for my wedding scrapbook. It's our e-pic, along with our 2 STD magnets.
The wording on top is part of a lyric that says 'From here to eternity, I'm asking you to share your life with me. Now and forever I guarantee, I'll always be by your side.' Then below 'Save the Date, Saturday, October 5, 2002'
The charm is a ring box with diamond e ring inside - it's supposed to be a wine charm.

really? are you guys serious? Thanks :) I wasn't sure how I felt about it! LOL I didn't originally choose the red, but since my sweater in the pic is bright, this background looked best. When patterned vellum is used it creates such a beautiful look.
ok, maybe tomorrow I'll actually glue it all down!

Teri-do you use removable glue? I use hermafix removable, it holds realy tight but you can lift it to adjust if you want. I think the color red is amazing on that page! Here's our E-pic pages don't mind my poor photography skills.

I was watching Carol Duval on Saturday afternoon and she had a special show all about the HIA show. That is the Hobbies Industry Association show. its a convention for all the people that make the products that we use for all crafts. Of course when the scrapbooking part came up I was glue to the tv...well she made a statement that blew my mind...the Scrapbook industry is a 2 BILLION dollar a year industry!!! I know that I have defiantly contributed to that!!
I just wish I could tap some of that wealth!! Hmmmmmmmmm....someday!

If you dont want to ruin your actual photos, you can have color photocopies made at Kinkos. Cheap and very good quality.

I scrapbooked for almost 10 hours yesterday, i really made some GREAT pages...ill try to post them later!! this is great, i love getting new ideas from other peoples scrapbooks!
I cant wait to go away so i can make a anniversary/honeymoon scrapbook!

Richsbride - no fair! Yours are better than mine!!! LOL Well, I did only start this as of yesterday, and I need to head back to the store to buy some more supplies :)
Do you rubber stamp? I saw a few great layouts using stamps but I can't imagine mine coming out that clear. Whenever I stamped I could never get a clear letter.....
Stef - I thought about that, but wondered how well the photos would age after a few years?

I guess the color photocopies arent archival quality but I would be loathe to chop up my real photos unless I had a safe copy.
Lisa: I saw a rubber stamping mag this weekend and was blown away!! Some of that stuff is really fabulous - but it must cost a fortune b/c those stamps are really expensive!
