Pictures, pictures (hawaii)

We spent the first few days on Oahu visiting a friend, getting some sun and doing some kiteboarding.

Then we moved on to Kauai, which was just fabulous. We had an amazing view from our condo in Princeville. Spent 3 days there before moving on to the Hyatt. Definitely liked the North Shore better for the lush green scenery, but the hyatt pools were tons of fun.

We extended our time on Kauai, and ended up there for 6 days (rather than returning to Oahu). We did the first 4 miles of the Na Pali coast hike, swam in the Wailea waterfalls, swam into the blue room cave (which wasn't so blue, but was stilll an adventure), did another hike to a waterfall, went scuba diving, snorkeled, and did plenty of relaxing at pools & beaches.

I took 200 pictures, but don't have them all on Shutterfly yet. But if you want to see
more I'll be adding them in tonight...

Great pics! And what a great shot of you going down the slide!


We were thinking of going to Kaui last year but a travel agent sort of warned us that its a little boring after a few days. What did you think?

not boring in the least - we easily could have stayed another week and we have a list of things we'd like to do on the next trip. But it all depends on what you like to do - there's a lot of hiking, outdoorsy & beach stuff. And I could sit at the pool for a week with a good book.

Not so much nightlife, museums or great restaurants.

ohhh - how I'd LOVE to be back there!!! You certainly did alot too - we basically vegged out at the Hyatt, but loved every minute of it

Lisa, the pics are incredible! It looks like you had a fantastic time....and you and Al are SO TAN -> green with envy!

ps - you know that the 'real' Bali Hai mountain is in Tahiti, right?
