Not sure how many heard this morning that a plane leaving Montego Bay was hijacked by a 21/22 yr. old demanding to be flown to Cuba. There are 182 passengers on board. for everyone's safety!

I believe that he let all the passengers go. And just has the crew. He wants to be taken to Cuba.

My brother and SIL just flew out of Montego Bay early evening..they are safe though thank god thank god I spoke to them or I would be having a eart attack

Thank god he let the passengers go!!! I heard he is mentally ill and his father was trying to help him off the plane.
ETA: I wonder if any 09'ers were there?

I left Montego Bay on Saturday night. My stomach jumped when I heard this this morning. Thank God all the passengers were ok!

It really is frightening. Just when you think airport safety and secuirty is improving stuff like this happen.
