Please don't get made, but, want to hear your experiences with Bridal Reflections in Massapequa
NW-Sorry to post on this board, but I really need your opinion. I want to order my BM After Six dress and have heard terrible things about Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. However, I have heard that Bridal Reflections in Massapequa is better. Please let me know how they turned out for your. OR if you were really happy with where you got your BM dresses-please let me know!!! Thanks

this has been asked so many times, if you search youll get a lot of feedback
but from what I remember not too many were too thrilled w/ massapequa either! I never went there but one of my gf's did and she said they were VERY rude to her and some of the girls on here posted the same, others said they had no problem so I guess it depends who you deal with

I used carle place and had a mixed experience.Customer service by the staff was very good as well as the store was always clean and a nice place to visit.
The owner however was not as pleasant and she mislead me a bit about dress delivery dates as well as a few other things i found out later. That said, buying my gown thru them instead of Kleinfelds saved me about $1000!
The seamstress was very knowledgeable and did a nice job on everything EXCEPT my straps which were not resewn in place properly and ended up breaking during the night. BR charges a fortune for alterations so that is inexcusable to me.
I would not recommend them - however - they are not aweful and in fact, they seem to have the exact same issues i hear about at many dress shops so it could be worse.

I used them for both my gown and my BM's gowns.I had one small problem with the alteration price. They tried to charge me extra for my bustle when my contract clearly stated that it was included in my alteration cap. A discussion with the manager solved the problem. My bridesmaids had no problems.

I used the Massapequa store, and was in a bridal party that also used that store. We all had no problems whatsoever in ordering, receiving, or having them altered there. There were all very nice and easy to deal with.

I got my dress there and had no problems, we got the bm's dresses online. However while I was there I would see other bm's getting pi$$ed that the alterations cost more than the cap because cups were not included etc.

I purchased my dress at the Massapequa location...the salon is beautiful, however I didnt love the shopping experience. I felt pushed into a dress. Also, the alterations were way too much money for what they do and I had a problem with the bodice of my dress that they couldnt completely fixed so in some pictures it buckles a little bit.....but overall the seamstress was a really sweet lady -- and addressed my concerns.
