are you kidding really

it is a product that cuts grease or other things that have flim that are hard to break down. That is why I suggested using that first.

Re: please help! cleaning water stained shower doors

I have the same problem. I can't get my shower doors sparkly clean & my mom recently told me to spray a vinegar/ water mix. She uses vinegar to clean everything. I haven't tried it yet.

Re: please help! cleaning water stained shower doors

Have u tried Lysol with Bleach? It is super strong (the odor will get you a little dizzy) BUT it works wonders. Spray it and let it soak a little then scrub it off.

Re: please help! cleaning water stained shower doors

Just be careful about getting the degreaser on floors. It can strip finish from things like linoleum. (Sorry mom.)

Re: please help! cleaning water stained shower doors

CLR a cleaner, it could be hard water spots. i use vinegar (white), soapy warm water and a drop of bleach. Then after each shower use I wash them down with our shower head or wipe them down with a cloth. IT helps it keep in check between cleaning.

You do this after every shower use? Wow I wish I had the time and patience for that!

Re: please help! cleaning water stained shower doors

I was going to suggest vinegar too. Vinegar cleans everything! I wipe everything down with my towel after each shower too.

Well I have a detached shower head so I take it off and spray down the entire shower to make sure all soapy residue is gone. I hate cleaning for hours straight so I just do little things to make it less of a job for when I do a major clean.

i was gonna suggest this too. BUt its weird bc i have clear glass shower doors and for the rest of the shower and bathroom i will use scrubbing bubbles and other stuff but for the doors i use windex and it works just great and cleans them right away. My mom suggested i try ajax but i havent and probably wont.

OK maybe I read it wrong. I thought you cleaned and wiped everything down every time. Seemed like a lot of work, but I understand now. I like to do little things throughout the week, so I have less to do on the weekends.
