Ok so here is the deal.. MY DH had a pretty bad sinus infection like 2 weeks ago but last week it started to subside. But when it started to subside, he developed a bump behind his ear ( like where the bone behind the top if the ear is) At 1st i thought it was related to the sinus infction BUT now that the infection subsided and this bump is still there and is killing him im starting to get worried. He cant even lay on that side when he sleeps and its been giving him a heachache...
my issue is that i have no idea what kind of doctor to call to have him checked out.
any ideas girls? please help me out

I would say he still has a swolen gland, I would go back to the regular doctor and have him check it out.
I agree thats what it sounds like . That tends to happen when the body is trying to fight an infection

Update: So i got an appt with an ENT of Sat morn and we went. DH is not on VERY storng antibiotics and he has to go for 2 differnt types of cat scans. It turns out that the bump was caused form not taking care of the sinus infection. Basicailly, all the extra fluid that wasnt coming out cuz he was so blocked up was draining to the back of his head/ ear. Now we are waiting for his insurance can approve his Cat Scans so we can go sometime this week. Hopefully everything will be ok. Im worried. The good thing is that since he started the anti biotics the swelling has gone down and he has not gotten any more headaches. Lets just hope all is ok after the scans!!
