Please pray for sister's new husband Tyler who will officially be leaving for Iraq on Tuesday. He just got back from desert training in Cali and got the official word that Tuesday is their day to leave. I really wish this war would just end already!!!
God will keep him safe and he will be home before you know it!!!

Thanks guys!! I just talked to my sister and she was crying already! Originally he wasn't supposed to leave till Fri, so she's really upset! I don't know how they do it!
I was there for the farewell when they left for desert training a little over a month ago, and the war really hit home for me. I looked around the bunkers and saw all these guys that looked like such babies. Some were so scrawny and geeky looking-they looked like they belonged in the front row of honors algebra in the 7th gade, not on their way to fight a war- it was just so sad. And then to see these Marines holding their babies, and wives/gf's crying. It was hard. I couldn't imagine being at the farewell for them going to Iraq, and having to deal with saying goodbye. I pray for all the soldiers and their families!

Hoping his tour goes quickly so he can be back with his wife! And please tell him we appreciate his sacrifice to keep us safe at home!!! DH's friend has been there for quite awhile and e-mails us stories and pics (many of good things going on).
