PLEASE tell me I am not the only 08 bride who..

has not picked the pics for her album yet? With SO many pics and So many that I love I am finding the whole task to be overwhelming-- any tips???

I picked out my album pictures and can't wait to see how it turns out.

I, too, had a ton of photos to choose from so I grouped them into categories by chronological order then took those groups and broke them down even further into photos of DH and I, photos of me and my family, DH and his, bridal party, etc. I chose one photo from each little pile and picked which ones would go into our album. We were allowed 60 photos and I refused to go over.

I haven't, and I am not planning on doing it any soon. Every time I look at them, I just want the day to be here again, and they are all so good - I get overwhelmed ... you'd think I'd be able to do it being out of work, but it's such a huge task ...

I have not even started There are so many pictures to choose from, but i really need to get a move on!

I have not even finalized my Thank You Cards yet...i am waiting on a proof!

I just looked at my pro prics last week and pick a thank you card pic and DH picked some choices for the album...I still have to pic my choices for the album and narrow it down...but again we only just looked at it last weekend...

After the wedding I just thought of all the wedding stuff over with which is why I've procrastinated on doing the pics...my mind just hasn't been in wedding mode.

We are both close to the same date, and I will say that I have not picked my pictures yet. I haven't even picked a Thank You yet.

I have been so busy, and for me to sit down and actually look through them all is such a huge task for me :( I actually took a half day on St. Patricks Day so I could go through them.

My tips so far:

I sorted out what I absolutely hated, and made a pile of what I liked, and got rid of the duplicates so I could concentrate on one box. I think it made it a little bit easier to know that the one box was all of what I liked, and I wouldn't have to worry about bad pictures being in the mix.

I've been procrastinating myself so no worries! I worked with Duet for my wedding. It's a confusing and time-consuming task. I'm planning to devote at least an hour or two to pick out the photos from the photos CD. I'm going to either fill out the order form for the album on their website or email all the photos I love and label by number according to the photos CD and let them do the layout. I guess each photographer has their own way of doing their albums. It's best to contact your photographer for instructions and info to make sure you get the album exactly the way you want it. nope! I got married in December and still have yet to do that. There's just so many pictures that I love and I'm not even sure what the exact number is of how many I can choose. So it's a little overwhelming.

The thank yous, however, I had finished within a few weeks. So i don't feel like I'm TOTALLY slacking. lol.

I picked out my pics but im still waiting for the first draft of the layout.

I grouped them into pre ceremony/formals; ceremony; and reception/dancing/cake cutting;

Then narrowed it down from there.

I have about 70 b/c its a digital layout.

You definitely aren't...I got married in July and we haven't picked any pics yet at all. All I did was separate the pics into piles like 'getting ready', 'ceremony', 'reception', 'bridal party' etc. I did send out my TYs and pick up my video but that's it. I have to get my @ss in gear

The only way I actually sat down to pick out my pictures was...to make an appointment with the photographer. I knew I had to have the pictures done by that date and I didn't do it until the night before, but it finally got done!

Pfffft! Kimmy - I still haven't picked out my album and I've only written out 1/2 of my thank you's! And I'm Unemployed!!

NO Excuse on my part. I'm a bad, bad bride LOL!
