Please tell me I'm not the only one...

Who physically cannot stop eating since the wedding.. I've gained 10 pounds since we got married..I feel so gross!!!
Before the wedding, I was so stressed I could eat whatever I wanted, and still not gain anything..
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's gained weight since the wedding!!
I keep telling myself once January comes I will get back into my diet and the gym... I am a BM in March and April!!!

Not alone! I tend to get fatter in the winter though always so I try not to look at the mirrors too much lol. All ym winter clothes are a size larger than my summer clothes and when i first put them on they feel sooo loose but by the end of November they fit again...I'll lose it come the warmer weather. I call it my 'insulation.'

Laugh or cry ladies...all ya can do.

DH and I went to Outback last night and said, 'Ok, we'll get some steaks and be not too bad...'
Then we started off with cheese fries and spicy ranch dressing!!!!

**raises hand**

I feel horrible!! Before the wedding I lost 55 lbs and I still have another 40 to lose. I don't want to come near to gaining back what I lost, but since the wedding/honeymoon and now the holidays, I've gained close to 10 lbs back!

I too said that January 1st is it, but that is so cliche, LOL. But seriously, I think we all do it to an extent. We get comfy, then something comes along and we panick, then the weight comes off, the event comes and goes, we get comfy again and the vicious cycle continue's!! LOL

Can we all motivate each other right after the holidays?? I know before the wedding you girls we great motivators to me, and I can sure use the help again!!

I totally understand. The 'newlywed nine' have gone straight to my hips. I've made a deal with myself, that I won't beat myself up about it during the holidays, but come January I start a hard core training program. I have about 50 pounds to lose to hit my goal weight and I am determined to do it by this summer.

Oh, you're definitely not alone. I haven't gotten on the scale but I know I've put on some pounds since the wedding because my jeans are very tight on me. I just can't stop eating!! But determined in January to get myself on track once and for all.

Right after the wedding, I gained about 10 lbs (5 or so on the honeymoon).

I've taken most of it off - we don't eat out as much so we've been eating healthier meals and I've been trying to go to the gym more.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who could put on this much weight since our wedding at the end of September. LOL..

I haven't hit the 130 mark in years and now I am slightly over that. Ugghh! I don't understand it! I eat the same as I did before and now I am packing on the pounds. I've put on about 4 pounds!

Re: Please tell me I'm not the only one...

I feel so guilty.
I gained 5 lbs over the last 3 weeks (honeymoon included). I've let myself pig out on everything. And since it's holiday season, there's always junk food at the office.

And with the holiday parties, we're eating later and more.
I keep telling DH to go to the gym as he used to do before the wedding, but he is too lazy now. I need to make myself join his gym so we'd go together, but I'm too lazy, too. Also, there's no time for that.

I'm in the same boat too -- I try so hard to be good but it a difficult time of the year with the holidays and food. We are joining the gym this weekend and ease ourselves into getting back -- come January 1 hello WW hard core I also would love to lose 40-50 pounds.

Re: Please tell me I'm not the only one...

it's very frustrating! first of all, i never lost any weight for the wedding b/c i think the stress was making me eat more. so i didnt gain or lose.
i just couldnt cut back on food or portions or snacks.

now, i have gained 10 pounds since the summer.
i can totally see the difference and my clothes are getting a little tighter and my belly is getting bigger.

dh feels the same way about his body. since i get home at 8 it's hard to go to the gym knowing that afterwards i basically have to climb into bed b/c its 11:00 by the time we get back
i've just been trying to eat better and i am starting this thing where next week i am going to eat some sort of fish for dinner at least 3-4 nights a week..

Me too but I look at it this way, you can't beat yourself up about it. You have your entire life to diet and loose it. Just enjoy life, be happy and try to eat healthy.
I gained about 7 since the wedding, I still feel great though. Just enjoy life... we are NW ladies. Enjoy that =). You are all so beautiful, no matter what size
