Please tell me I'm not the only one...

Original post by Pinkiegirll07

Who physically cannot stop eating since the wedding.. I've gained 10 pounds since we got married..I feel so gross!!!
Before the wedding, I was so stressed I could eat whatever I wanted, and still not gain anything..
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's gained weight since the wedding!!
I keep telling myself once January comes I will get back into my diet and the gym... I am a BM in March and April!!!

You are definitely not the only one. It all came back on so fast. I've gained about 7 or 8 pounds but it feels like 20. It's terrible!

Oh you're not alone at all! I lost 30 pounds before the wedding and had all of the intentions of keeping it up. Yeah, that went out the window. Last time I weighed myself, which was a good 4 weeks ago, I had only gained 4 pounds, but I can see it on me. It looks like I gained 20. DH laughs at me sometimes because I just need to snack constantly. And I get these cravings so bad (no I'm not pregnant). Lately it's been pizza. I HAVE to back on my diet after the holidays because I can't carry a baby with all of this weight. I already have a bad back with a metal rod in it so it can't handle the additional weight.

I am in the minority...lost more weight, still barely can eat and I am a strict low carb girl. Too much going on and I was graciously volunteered to collect for office gifts and start meeting with our clients for x-mas visits at our facilities while wrapping up with my old judge. I don't eat when stressed. I am also petrified of my placement in January (admin judge=scary). And, I am running around family court like a chicken without a head. X-mas stinks in Family Court...and I also have to tell some of our delinquents that they were denied visits and I am nervous about telling them in person (i kinda feel bad). So I lost more. Sorry guys.

One tip-committing to low carb and coffee helps during these parties-no desserts or bread here!

I do want Taco Bell though!

I gained almost 15lbs and I now can honestly say, I have cellulite EVERYWHERE.. I can't believe how skinny and tight I used to be and now I am a fat pig.. I am disgusted with myself.. I am on a diet as of Jan 1 like the rest of the world!!

I'm soooo with you! I don't feel I've changed my diet too much- I eat pretty much the same, and maybe I miss a workout or two here and there...but I've definitely gained. It feels TERRIBLE- especially when I put on clothes from last winter and I'm squeezing into them.

I feel your pain! Maybe instead of the Freshman Fifteen there's the Newlywed 10?

Michelle, I'm with you, I too lost weight. I don't overeat when I'm stressed. Instead, I make sure I always have a bottle of water or a cup of coffee. I don't like to diet or even utter the word. Over the years I have learned when I restrict I will ALWAYS overeat. So I eat what I want when I want all the while being mindful of my portions. If I overdo it one day or week or weeks I cut back in the following days to balance it all out.

One great tip if you have a sweet tooth like me...take a yogurt cup and place it in the freezer...this way it is now frozen yogurt...when you are ready to eat your frozen yogurt just pop it in the microwave for under a minute (depend on your microwave) and poof you have a low cal FROZEN YOGURT. Yogurts brands I enjoy using are Dannon Light and Weight Watchers. I've never tried fruit on the bottom because I'm not a fan.

Me too! I have gained about 10-12 lbs also. I asked DH for a gym membership as a Christmas present. I seriously need to lose some weight.
