So I went to Plymouth when I was like 9 years old. I dont remember much. But, this october on columbus day weekend, we are staying nearby for a wedding on sunday. I was thinking of extending the trip and getting there early friday. has anyone been there? Is there a lot to do nearby? I see there are some wineries and I remember like a recreated village. Didn't know if anyone had suggestions of places to go and things to do other than Boston- I have been to Boston a bajillion times. LOL.

Re: Plymouth MA
LOL Love Plymouth went there with my hubby like 5 years ago. 1. I recommend staying in a B&B 2. Go on the ship tour near the rock 3. Do the recreated old village 4. Do the ghost tours 5. I would say a max of 2 days the most.. If you love history then you will love Plymouth, I also remember there being a really nice Mexican restaurant not to far off from the rock..
ha and salem is fun for one night also.. def. check that out also. .. there are lots of chessy recreations of the witch hunts and trials..

we did salem 2 halloweens ago. LOL it was fun but the tourist stuff for halloween were cheesey and expensive. But we had fun. I remember doing the mayflower tour when i was little- Ill have to take DH on that! He has never been. I'd stay at a B&B but I figure I'll just add a night to the wedding hotel. Its pretty close to everything. I didn't nkow they did ghost tours in plymouth too- my DH is so into that sort of stuff- hence our trip to salem. :)
