I don't know why I was thinking about it this morning, but I was wondering about ceremony start times ... did you start early / on time / late?


We started about 15 mins late .... but i really had no idea till later - everything was kind of a blur

We started a little bit late. The ceremony was at JT and there was a wedding a half hour before ours. The whole bridal party left and I was sitting in the room with my bridal attendant watching the clock. Apparently they left for the rehearsal and then came back. I was having a heartattack the whole time FREAKING out that we were running behind but once those doors opened and I saw DH standing there (even though we saw each other before that) everything just disappeared!

To be honest, I have no idea. I didn't have a watch or a cell phone or any time telling device. There was no clock in the church or visible on the party bus where I was waiting. I think we probably did start a little late and by a little I mean less than 5 minutes late through no fault of my own! We actually were running perfectly on time for everything by some miracle and the guest Coach bus was late! It arrived the same time I did on the party bus. So we waited on the party bus for everyone to go in the church, took some pics, had some champagne. It was nice to catch my breath.

We started early... though I didn't know it at the time.

I'm a very 'on time' kind of girl, and I kept telling my venue that I will be walking down the aisle at 3pm sharp - no matter who isn't there... even if my Father is late.. I'm going...

My BF's husband said that he got there at 5 min to 3 and I was already on my way down the asle (yes, with my dad! )

Guess my RH took me very seriously!!

we started late enough to piss off the priest. he was like 'where is she, why is she late, where is she' to my husband. he was 'ya father, don't you think i have a vested interest in where she is too?'

after all that, we started only 15 mins late (thanks to one of my lovely SILs...grrr...a seperate thread altogether).

we started right on time- the only reason I know this is because in the pic of my brothers walking my mom down the aisle there is a clock that shows 11;00

Our ceremony started late. Everyone was ready to go but someone wanted to grap their camera before we left the house to get some pictures. (She shall remain nameless). As if the professional photographer wasn't going to get enough pictures. So we ended up being late.

BTW: I have never seen the pictures that she had to have.

late by like 20-30mins cause the men w/Rabbi were signing the katubah for FOREVER!
I was very anxious about it as I was convinced guests will be sick of waiting and will just leave LMAO

We basically started on time- I didnt care that 3 tables worth of friends hadnt shown up yet- but as the guys were about to start to walk the party bus pulled in so we held ceremony up for just a few minutes, Which was a shocker cause Im always late I run on Cookie Time

We only started 10 minutes late which is amazing considering due to the monsoon getting ready time was delayed by an hour. I owe it all to Kacey and Zoraida from Khouloud's they were speedy and excellent thank goodness!!

We started late but that was because my Aunt, who's only job was to make sure that my Grandma got there on time, was super late because she locked her keys in her rental car and had to wait for a locksmith to come. We wound up waiting as long as we could and had to start about 45 minutes late, without a single family member of mine present.

It started 10 minutes late and I was really mad because I promised the Church that we would start on time.

All the guys and DH were there about 40 minutes before the start time

All the girls and myself were there about 25 minutes before the start time

idk what the issue was

We started on time. We had hired a DOC to make sure we kept on a strict time schedule- and we did!
