POLL: Did you live with DH before getting married?

We only moved in 3 months before the wedding. I never lived with any boyfriend before. I had roomates in my 20s, lived alone in my late 20s until I was 32.
What about you?

we 'unofficially' lived together before the wedding.... basically since 2001/2002, he had been sleeping at my house every night

DH and I practically lived together for a year during college (at his place), and then we got a place together after we got engaged.
We both agreed that we wanted to live with each other for a at least a year before the wedding to make sure that we could make it work.

I chose other - we didn't really live together before, but we got an apt together in Nov, Dh moved in, then I moved in Feb, married in April

i've spent weekends at DH's before the wedding but we never lived together.

That is exactly our timeline! We lived together for about 3 months before the wedding.

nope we were very traditonal about it

maybe a week before the wedding i slept at our apartment occasionally since most of my things were there

we lived together before we got married! and im so glad we did lol...it makes adjusting to married life alot easier

Well I got my job in NJ and moved in with DH a few weeks before I started...and then he proposed a few weeks later. I'm glad we did it this way though.

we got our 1st apartment together last july. we thought we should live together before the wedding.

Yes... I had my own apartment and he slept over one night while we were dating and never left!!!!!

We bought a townhouse together and lived together for about 8 months before the wedding
