do you still follow the same routines with your e-ring that you did when you first got engaged?
for example, if you used to take it off when you went to sleep, do you still do that?
I still do the same with my rings (i don't sleep or shower with them .... no doing dishes with them either unless it's just one cup or something)

i wear mine all the time, except for when i know my hands will get really messy, like making meat balls for example.
i shower with mine on too.

when I told MIL that i don't wear my rings 24/7 she was in shock ... she said that SHE wears hers all the time and she couldn't fathom why i wouldn't do the same ... so apparently, the fact that i take my rings off at times means i'm a horrible horrible person / woman / wife
by that logic, you're the best bride ever!

I guess about the same... I do shower and do dishes etc with them on...
I've always taken off my e-ring to sleep... and I still do that, but I do leave on my wedding band when I sleep...

I used to take my ering off to shower...now the only time I take either ring off is when I'm doing something like making meatloaf and i don't want them to get all gunky
I dunno if that's treating them better or worse though

I almost never wear my engagement ring anymore.. unless we're going out or something. I'm just so much more comfortable in my bands.. I don't know.

i do the same as i did before. they come off when i go to bed and back on before i leave in the morning. i always take them off if im doing anything dirty, dishes or cooking that involves getting gross, and putting lotion on.
i work in a jewelery store and some of the dirt and food that i see in rings is sooo gross!!!

I used to wear them ALL of the time... sleeping, showering, cooking, cleaning... now I takenthem off when I'm doing any of these things. I'm not sure why other than the fact that my e-ring was always getting dirty.

me too. I feel naked without them. the only time I take off is on a rare occassion DH decides to clean or when I clean the house

how funny i have the same feeling too about the *naked* part :) especially when I left it at home one day going to work...
I used to keep them the whole time even doing the dishes and cooking but it made the ring looked dull because of the grease and dirt but at that time I just couldn't take it away from me. Now, I don't do that anymore and my rings looked clean and shiny all the time so I treat them better :)
