I had a glass of wine and a shot of something with friends, but I was sober. I didn't want to make a fool out of myself and I wanted to remember everything. I think we had a beer on the car ride home though.

nope. I had a few sips of Champgne and that was about it. Too much going on to drink!

Not at all...had some champagne and my bridal attendant kept filling my wine glass all eve but somehow i never had a chance to even finish a whole glass - too much going on- I was high on the excitement of the day/night! My mom was glad I wasnt a sloppy drunk bride! One of my bm's however got plastered and there are some funny moments in the video at the end of the reception.....she was embarassed watching it.

I tried - I really did, but it just wasn't working! I guess you really burn off the alcohol walking around, kissing everyone and dancing!!

I admit I was pretty buzzed - by the end of the night most of us were exhausted and drained from a full day of excitment and all.

I knew I had to watch myself since I figured I wouldn't eat much that day, and DH and I shared an entire bottle of champagne on the way out to the hall - we had a whole hour to kill!

If I were stone-cold sober, I wouldn't have felt comfortable dancing or anything, so it was all good. No one did anything stupid though - we all had a great time.

Both DH and I were 100% sober. We didn't have a drop of alcohol at all that day. Alcohol gives me migraine headaches. So I never drink at all anymore.

DH has an intolerance to alcohol, and ONE drink, even a wine cooler has him dizzy and stumbling.

We even served sparkling cider instead of champagne for the toast! Then again it was a renaissance theme wedding, so the cider kind of went with the theme....

NOPE, I wanted to make sure I remembered everything!!!!!!!!!!! I tend to forget even more when I drink! DH was a bit tipsy though

Wow, I must be the only one who got tipsy! We had a irish wedding, everyone was drinking but no one was out of hand! We were doing shots and all! I didn't get drunk, per say, with falling down and all that. Just tipsy.

no, not at all. I did have several glasses of champagne, but I was so happy, I was floating all night. There was just no need to get drunk. I could not have felt any happier!

Not at all...I don't think I even had time to finish one complete drink all night lol. We were too busy dancing and talking to everyone.

I barely had time to take a drink of water..

But my friend was a bridesmaid in a weddinglast year and the bride was so drunk she could be barely stand up and she even passed out in the bridal suite and missed half the wedding...My friend and her husnband took her back to the hotel.. her new DH had to stay behind and say good night to everyone and she threw up all over her dress in the car... the scary thing is she does not remember anything....

Neither DH nor I were drunk at our wedding. I didn't have time!

I had a slight buzz. But, I ended up downing water alot during because I was hot from dancing. MY hubby on the other hand was good & 'happy'!!!

I made up for it the next day (WAY to many cosmos )

Dh and I both didn't want to get drunk but we definitley wanted enough of a buzz to take off the edge and dance in front of everyone and the camera. We both drank a lot or so it seemed but for some reason - I only had a very slight buzz. I think everytime I started on a drink - I somehow lost it. We drank from early that afternoon until like 3am!

Had maybe 1 drink and a sip of champagne but thats it. Too busy dancing to get drunk!

I don't drink at all, so this was not an issue for me. DH had maybe one beer all night, if that. We were too busy dancing and having a good time. No alchol was needed for that.

I had champagne in the limo and in the bridal suite, and a sip for the toast. After that no time to drink, I was totally sober

I got a little tipsy, not drunk, but tipsy. DH got a little drunk too. It's funny b/c neither of us drink much, and we had no intention of that happening, but everyone kept getting me champagne and him rum and coke and we never had time to eat!

we had a good time, didn't make fools of ourselves, but had a good time.
