Just wanted to see how your DH is doing. I hope you guys were able to get the answers you were waiting for!!

Nope- Nothing...
He is changing doctors actually. There is wayy too much drama at that office and to be honest, he doesn't need it...

The fact they wont tell him what they 'found' makes me believe that they are just 'milking' it for the insurance. Something we don't have- cause the Catholic Insurance is limited...

Other than that, we had a few other drama issues come up this week which has caused him even more stress...

Both of his eyes have been hurting and I am praying that we get all his records...and soon, and find another doctor FAST...

He's too young for this you know?

Thanks for thinking of me. It means alot... Esp since my brain has been elsewhere lately...

ugh oh no!! well we will keep praying!! and hopefully he can see the new dr. quick and you can find out what exactly is going on!!

Doctors can be so frustrating! Sometimes I wonder about them. I hope you guys can find a better doc and finally get everything figured out.

You are so right, you guys are way too young to be going through all of this right now! But, it'll only make you stronger right?

same here - let me know - I have an excellent neurologist in Manhattan who is the chief of neurology @ Mt Sinai Hosp - & Im sure I can get some names from him...let me know - love u honey!

Jenny I will call my neurologist tomorrow & see what I can find out, as well as my oral surgeon - he's in massapequa but has a lot of connections in the city. Stay strong...love u girl!!!!!

Im soooo sorry you 2 are going through this

Jenny, are you sure he needs a rheumatologist?I work for neurosurgeons, brain and spine specialists, I'm not sure if they treat autoimmune diseases, but FM me some more details, and I will ask the doctors who they think can help. Also, do you have blue cross??? can you go out of network? that may help as to not limit his choices for the best medical care.

Yeah- the disease he has- what it does is the blood cells cant tell what part of his body 'BELONG' to him, and so they attack all the joints (Him being his spine, knees, wrists, and the worst case- his EYES) He has lost some vision in his left because of the first 'attack' where we thought he had pink eye... and low and behold it was this wonderful disease....

We are waiting on the 'big' results- as usually it doesnt attack without a 'larger' issue ('C' word scoliocis, etc) And THAT is the information we had been waiting on for the last month....

Once we know WHAT is causing the disease to become active, we will know what doctor to go to treat it.

The eye doctor tried to explain, we can only temporarily alleviate the problem (UVITIS in the Eyes) withthe steroids- because it is not the 'root' to the problem....

We still need the bigger answer- what is causing it
