Re: Pork chops?
Take a non stick fry pan, add some cooking spray brown them until there is a bit of color but not cooked, add saurkraut put a lid change to simmer temp and cook until pork is all most done (usually 6-8 mins) then add some raisin and slices of apples cover again for additional 3 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes, spatzel or egg noodles. For a veg usually I put a side salad.
OR Take pork chops glaze with apricot preserves (if you have them) or duck sauce put in the over at 350 and cook till done.

Re: Pork chops?
I mix some italian style bread crumbs and parmesan/romano cheese together. Dip the pork chops in an egg wash (about 2 eggs and a tbsp water) then dip them in the bread mixture. Bake until done, depending on the thickness of the chops. I think the last time I made pork chops it took about 45 minutes?

Re: Pork chops?
I DO! I always used to make pork chops & they were always dry. I got this from my MOH a few years ago & its awesome. Its a no brainer.
Note: I use thin cut pork chops with the bone b/c that's what DH likes, but you can use any kind.
butter (I use unsalted but that's just me. I don't like salty food) 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon sage (the secret ingredient!) 1 cup breadcrumbs 1/4 cup grated cheese pork chops
Heat oven to 350 Melt butter in pan over med-high heat Beat an egg in a bowl Mix sage, cheese, breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Dip pork chop in egg, then in breadcrumbs, then put in hot pan. Cook chops until slightly brown on each side. Transfer to the oven and cook for 15 minutes at 350 or until chops are cooked through.
I always serve with Rice Pilaf & something green
Good luck!

Re: Pork chops?
I find baking them makes them less dry than doing them in the grill pan. Not sure how you had been doing them. And honestly, I made them a couple times with shake and bake, and they came out sooooo good and moist!! Not gormet, but so yummy! LOL!

Re: Pork chops?
put them in foil wrap when you put them in the oven..that helps keep them from drying out! Also try shake and bake! I love it on pork!! theres also this apricot stuff you can baste them with (forgot the name of it)

Re: Pork chops?
I stuff the pork chops with garlic, put salt & pepper, and squeeze lemon on it. Then I grill with red onions and green peppers on top. The lemon usually helps bc I'll put a little more while i am cooking it.
Another thing you can do is buy a pork seasoning blend. But first you brush some olive oil on it, not alot just a little and then put the seasoning on top. The olive oil helps keep it a bit moist.

Re: Pork chops?
I have to easy simple ways that Ive made them and they dont come out dry.
1 - good old Italian dressing - DH looooves it. Just marinate in the dressing for at least 1/2 hour and stick em in the oven for about 25 min.
2. pineapples - put the porkchops in a pan get a can of pineapples and pour it in the pan, cover it and let it bake for about an hour.

Re: Pork chops?
Buy thick pork chops with the bone in them.
Cut the pork chop in half to the bone, making a pocket. Open the pocket and put a slice of proscuitto and a slice of mozzarella cheese. Dip the pork chop in egg and then seasoned bread crumbs.
Cook in a pan for a little while, until the bread crumbs are a little brown. Then, transfer to a pyrex pan and cook in the oven.
Haven't made them in quite a while, so don't remember oven temperature. Sorry.

Re: Pork chops?
Pork Chop and Vinegar Peppers are one of my favorites!
We buy the package of 4 pork chops on bone still and fy in olive oil. After about 10 minute add 1 large jar of drained, chopped vinegar peppers (red). We like our well done so we continue frying for awhile.
May sound weird but its so good!!!!!!!

Re: Pork chops?
easiest way on the planet to make them....i throw some aluminum foil under the broiler - put on dry spices....i have one of those pre mixed grill spice ... or you could do your own, garlic, onion, red pepper flakes, salt pepper etc... put them under a pre-heated broiler for 5 min...flip....5-8 min more...voila...juicy and quick pork chops!!! i serve it with Jasmine rice

Re: Pork chops?
DH likes when I make Pork Chops alla Pizzaiola (it's a Giada deLaurentis recipe from Food network).
Basically, I season bone in chops with salt and pepper and then sear them for 2 minutes a side in a skillet. Then I take them out and add red sauce or canned tomatoes to the pan. I doctor up the sauce depending on my mood. (Usually I add some sauteed onion, garlic and red pepper flakes in the beginning and throw in some chopped parsley at the end) Then I simmer the chops (covered) for another 15 minutes or so until they are done. The pork chops come out pretty juicy and I serve the extra sauce over 1/2 box of pasta.

Re: Pork chops?
i always do skake and bake!!! i love it on pork chops, it keeps them very moist and flavorful. i used to have pork chops because they were always dry and plain, but i like the way they come out with the shake and bake. I hate to used pre-packaged things but this is really just bread crumbs I think, with some different flavorings.

This is pretty much how I make mine but I use oil instead of egg wash and I add parsley, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese to plain bread crumbs...delish! Not dry at all. Posted
