omg, i was so nervous when i went to pick him up at the airport! tummy was all butterflies. my heart was pounding when i saw him and he came over and hugged me. and it was akward but only for the first few mins on the ride and then after a half hour/hour, we were acting as if we had been together all along. it felt SO comfortable, it was crazy!
what about you and pete?

We met online, I purposely set up a 2 part date.. date 1 was during our lunch hour since we both work near each other at the time if that went well we had dinner plans for that evening ...just in case he was a total nut job I've met quite a few online in my day thankfully he was a good nut job..
I was nervous even though we spoke on phone & email for weeks prior..I was nervous till that 1st kiss..

This was taken just a few days after we started dating back in October 2003

Jess, wasn't it just the coolest though? It's probably the most memorable moment of my life, waiting for Brett to step off the plane! It was awkward in the first maybe 2-3 minutes, then once we were in the cab, it was flirt city!! Soooo much fun! I love that we will always have that really special memory of the very first time we saw each other!

Aww lol thanks guys. I am actually going to post a thread about what evryone uses as cleansers cause lately my skins not doing well but I cant use Rx stuff-makes it worse cause my skins so sensitive.

Thats so sweet. Hmm Pete and I lol well before we met we'd been talking awhile but we were both talking to other people as well though we enjoyed one another's company the most but i was committment phobic and afraid of how much I liked him, so I kept rbeaking dates lol. I think I broke 4 before he got exasperated and said we had perfect chemistry on the phone and he liked me so WHAT did he have to tdo to get me to go out with him. Told him as long as he was seeing other women, I couldn't commit to next steps. (Id already broken off my stuff at this point too) He said 'Done.' Hung up on me, lmao then called me back ten minutes later and said, 'Ok all yours. Now whats your excuse.'
-hoots- So we set a date. That day I had the worst job interview ever in the morning, broke my heel ina subway grate, spilled someone els'c coffee on my clean sweater and ahd to wear only the ahem sheer cami beneath and my suit jacket -with a BRIGHT RED bra mind you lmao... such a mess.
But I met him in NJ like we agreed. Had given all his info, his parents info (he was thorough lmao) to my friends who knew where i was and then I wated for him lmao. wnated to get there first but he was waiting for me on the other side. Said I looked cute holding the pole.
We were akward for maybe ten minutes and then I looked over at him and said 'I know you can totally see my bra and I know you saw my butt when I tried to get into this obsenity you calla pickup which isn't meant for heels, so t its and $ss-we did it its over. Can we be normal again?'
Ive never heard him laugh so hard. He looked relieved then grinned and we were fine from that point on because we both have weird senses of humor.

it was awesome! so nerve racking but then just so comforting to finally be together...great memories!!!!
