Post about regrets got me thinking

After all of my friends' weddings, they said they regretting how much money they spent on the wedding and that it was a waste.

DH and I don't feel that way at all. We say all the time that we'd do everything again in a heartbeat.

I don't want this to come off rude at all...but I would have spent double or triple the amount of money we did.....I had THE BEEEST time at our wedding! It was PERFECT in every way...our vendors were superb (still working on my review lol) and to us it was totally worth the $$$.

I'm so glad to see this - I thought something was wrong with me! All of my friends said they regretted the money they spent on the wedding.

I, too, and so proud of DH and I!!! Who knew that in 14 months we could save enough for a house AND a wedding. I feel like every sacrafice we made was worth it in the end.

People said oh my god u r spending what?? But we wouldnt changed a thing. We paid for our own wedding & it was worth every penny! It was an amazing day!

I don't regret it at all. We spent way over what we wanted and did a bunch of extra things but I'm so happy that we did. We thought that we would have to wait a while to buy a house after the wedding but everything worked out and 5 months later we bought a house. Great year!
