Did anyone feel like they completely crashed after their wedding???? I feel like every second of my life that I wasn't working, I spent doing something wedding related.....now that the wedding is over.....i'm kind of like errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what to do....and i'm bored........did anyone else go through this????? As soon as people left the RH, it hit me that it was all over and I actually felt a little upset......still do......I feel pathetic but I had so much fun planning everything!!!!!!

its okay to feel it--we call it PWD (post wedding depression) on here --and its common to have it. i mean we spent, and especially in my case, YEARS planning and saving for one day--and then its over and you feel like 'man---its OVER!'
just try and focus on the fact that while it was the greatest day -- you have an entire life to look foward to! eventually the PWD will begin to fade

totally normal babe. i think we all went through this it lasted about 4 months for me. but then something magical happens - married life just becomes so amazing, you tend to forget that anything is missing

Same here. I really miss having all the wedding things to do. Its so funny cause back then I would be like, 'I CANT WAIT TIL THIS IS OVER UGH'

aww thanks girls.....it's nice to see that this goes away lol....yeah i remember days of literally crying my eyes out dying for this to be over...now i just want to be back on the dance floor one more time!!! We had such an awesome night!!!!!! We had a lot of fears, some of which came true (like the BM toast...he is a total a s s ) but it didn't even matter.......we had the best day ever :)
So far, married life is awesome, not much of a change though. We were already living together since december....doesn't feel that different....just a pain getting everything straightened out.....SS, DMV, etc...

Yep, I felt like this after the wedding-I spent 2.5 years planning and it was over so quick it made me but it goes away over time, its totally normal Like Caroline said-roam the boards and give people advice-it helps soothe the burn

Totally normal. I think every bride goes thru this a little. It passes eventually as you settle into your new married life.

DEFINATLY......I was really depressed after my weddinng. I still get a lil sad sometimes and its 1 1/2 years later. Im still comtemplating day after pics too. I think Ill be like this till i have a baby or buy a house. Dont worry I felt the same way!

ya everyone said wait till you have a kid, you won't think about the wedding....we are no where near ready for that till we get out of this apartment!!!!!! House Hunting is my new Forte.....It's not nearly as much fun though

I realized this problem may occur so I started developing hobbies to help the transition. It keeps you busy and easier to deal with other people now being the bride and center of attention.

definitely. i even have trouble looking at my proofs b/c i almost felt like it was looking at pictures after a break up or something... like...'awww, good times, i miss them, i wish it wasn't over'
i almost feel lost now that it's over but i'm trying to find little things to help get past it.
i've been told by a lot of people both on and off the boards that its totally normal.

But Stacey got to vicariously live out my wedding with me (or at least the fun girls only morning part) so shes not sad ALL the time about it .
And I want first dibs when you tell LIW girls when theres gonna be a lil Stacey mini-me coming!!!
