Re: Post Wedding Depression

I just started experiencing this...and I posted about it on 07' and no one cared lol I was like WOW I really am a married old lady not even the 07' girls want to hear that lol

I think it hit me b/c yesterday we had my SIL's e-party and I was like my god it felt like yesterday, I was just planning that and now our wedding is over.....how & when did that happen? I thought our house would keep us busy, which it is but I sorta miss planning (I thought those words would NEVER come out of my mouth!!)

Re: Post Wedding Depression

I am Happy all the planning is Over. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable on the 2007 Boards. I can't explain it. But I am So Over the whole seating, and favors, and all that stuff.

I am Very sad the HM is over. We had such an Amazing time.
I feel alot sadder looking at the HM pics for some reason.

Re: Post Wedding Depression

Is it crazy that I LIKED the planning? I'm sad the wedding is over for many reasons - I enjoyed putting everything together, I loved seeing all my friends and family in one place, and, I admit it, it was fun being the center of attention! I always want to talk about the wedding and hope that whenever we're with our friends, someone will bring it up. I'm trying to re-live it by doing wedding-related things like writing TY notes and putting together our album, but it's not the same.

OMG I've been doing the SAME thing! I tried to start my TYs and I constantly look back at pictures. I even started putting together a shadow box of our invitation and my garter -- but its just not the same as actually planning the wedding. Its so depressing!

It's good to know I'm not the only one! I have decorated our entire apartment with wedding pics and DH is like, 'I'm tired of looking at us!' I want to plan another wedding (to DH again, of course!).

I just posted the same response on 07' but in case you see this first:

she Def. did not mean it as I don't want to go to HER wedding or any of the weddings.....she was saying how she's not looking forward to going b/c it would make her upset to go to other weddings b/c hers is over.

Instead of jumping the gun....read what I had posted previously....I was upset b/c I had a wedding related thing to go to and it made me miss my wedding and my planning which is what she was trying to say.

Instead you've now made a huge thread about how rude she is when you didn't even hear what she had to say.

I'm an 07'er and I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. That thread is inappropriate. Your post was taken out of context and misunderstood...do you really want to be friends with someone like that?
[ok, no more newlywed boards crashing ]
