C'mon girls...u know u had 'em at some point! i really was NEVER stressed with planning at all! but i had my few bridezilla moments when people pissed me off not many....but
1) i FLIPPED(both me & my mom) the day before the wedding when we went to get our nails done with the bridal party.... the woman doing my nails couldn't REALLY speak english..i specifically told her i wanted a french manicure, very dainty & not to long with a thin little stripe...i made the mistake at pointing to a picture on the wall that just so happened to be on the poster for the 'Permanent French' advertisement..... i had never gotten this before so i had no idea what she was doing. At the end not only did it NOT look at all what I wanted, but they wanted me to pay $95.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $95 for NAILS??? are u kidding me?!??!!!! i didnt even care what they looked like at that point...i wasn't paying that much money for my freakin' finger nails lol. they weren't understanding at all or would admit that it was a misunderstanding, so my mom said 'here's ur $40 for the reg. french that my daughter ASKED for.we're leaving'. lol and we walked out...yikes.needless to say i havent been back since lol.
and 2) at the reception, for some reason the DJ refused to announce that my viennese hour was coming out 'because the staff wanted to wait untill it was totally ready'...meanwhile, we cut the cake & he says 'ok folks, ur cake & coffee will be out shortly' ????? What the HELL is the difference??? lol. So after about 4 guests came up & said they had to go, i asked him again for like the 4th time, but he said the same thing, so i just turned into the exoricist & said 'I'M THE BRIDE.I DON'T CARE WHAT THE STAFF SAYS..AND', and before i could finish, he grabbed the mic & said 'Alright folks, our lovely bride would like me to tell you that our 45yard venetian hour is on it's way out'.....i just smiled & walked away

Re: Did any of you have a 'Bridezilla Moment'?????
Oy....I had so many that I can't even remember them all and I'm actually embarrassed to tell everyone
1- I went completely NUTS when we got a gift from our registry that wasn't really from our registry, the people got it from somewhere else b/c it was cheaper. (why did i make such a big deal about that?)
2- when assembling my programs, I realized halfway through that I was assembling them wrong and the pages were out of order.....I went NUTS
3-we gave CDs as favors; and each one had a chocolate brown bow. I FLIPPED out while tying the bows b/c they were not perfect, and I re-did them all about 6 times
4-I went NUTS after the ceremony b/c we realized that my husband forgot to wear his yarmulke.
5-I went nuts when I saw the flower girl dresses. They were WHITE instead of IVORY. YIKES!
6--and the BIGGEST BRIDEZILLA MOMENT happned several times......at each and every one of my dress fittings. I had 10 fittings. It was a nightmare . That was by far, the worst and most stressful part....the dress.
I'm so glad its over and I'm married already

Re: Did any of you have a 'Bridezilla Moment'?????
I had one, and it wasnt until my 2nd fitting. I totally flipped out on the woman who made my dress. I had every right to. The things that were supposed to be fixed werent, and when I explained to her what was wrong with the dress, she disagreed with me. I really had to lay into her until she got it.
URRG it was so frustrating....I still get upset just thinking about it. My parents were with me that day. I think they thought I was going to have a nervous break down...or kill the woman.
But in the end, it all worked out.

Re: Did any of you have a 'Bridezilla Moment'?????
I have to say I was completely calm throughout the whole planning process. I was shockingly calm the day of. The only bridezilla-like moment I had was when I was in my replacement limo (my limo broke down & as you can imagine the only car available was in great shape ) with my bridal party & no A/C with my big, hot dress I was very MAD. I wasn't mean or anything, I just refused to talk the whole way to the church. My MOH was trying so hard to get me to crack a smile but I was just so upset because it was the one thing I was hoping wouldn't go wrong! I get hot very easy & hate being hot. But although I was so upset when I got to to the church, in retrospect it was the only thing that went wrong & I'm glad I didn't let it ruin the rest of my wonderful day!

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
The week before the wedding, especially 3 days before I was a total b!!tch to DH. I felt bad afterwards.
On my wedding day there were a few.
My bouquet died before my ceremony. I was complaining about it for a long time while taking pics after the ceremony. I sure hope there are some good shots without it.
Surprisingly I got to the church 10 minutes early. I have never been early for anything. When I got to the church I flipped out when I saw all my guests standing outside. I knew there wasn't another wedding before mine. The church had an adoration (prayer service) that ended exactly at 3:00 p.m. when my ceremony was supposed to start. ( I was told by the church secretary weeks before my wedding that the church would not have the adoration that day and the guests would be allowed to come early) The people leading the prayer services refused to let my guests in. They did get out at 3:00 pm., but still, I was sooo mad.
I know think the worse thing of all is the big ugly white screen that my church had up at the altar during my ceremony (see pic below-***?). They have this up so people can sing at mass. Well all of my ceremony pics now have this ugly screen. I can't get over how inconsiderate the church was in not taking this down. If the church would've allowed DH in early, (when he saw my bridal car pull up he immediately went to the opposite end of the church so he wouldn't see me, he would've realized that I didn't want the ugly screen up and would've demanded it be taken away. Thank God I didn't see it walking up the aisle.
I tried so hard not to be a Bridezilla but it happened on the day of the wedding.
I walked into our reception room and saw the cake. I HATED it. It was so terrible compared to what I had asked for. I started telling everyone how much I hated it and that I didn't even want to look at it. I didn't even want to do the cake cutting to draw attention to it. The Woodlands moved it into the corner so I didn't have to see it all night. But we did do the cake cutting.

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
my only bridezilla moment on the big day lasted literally 3 seconds.... I was yelling to get my family together so we could take formal pics together, and of course, they were scattered about... inside the church, outside, not yet arrived, and it never happened I only got 1/3 of my family.....
During the planning phase, my bridezilla moment came when my superstitious MIL decalred 'her granddaughter' (the flowergirl) could NOT wear an ivory dress with black sash, since black is 'bad luck'. I flipped out becuase this conversation occurred about 6 weeks before the wedding... and several months after the BMs bought black and ivory outfits. I was very irritated because I knew she would blame bad luck BM dresses for any trouble we might have as a couple over the next several decades. (She actually DID do this to her brother... blaming his illness on his wife's black wedding shoes 30 years prior)
I've recovered from that now

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
I wasn't the brightest ray of sunshine while getting ready that day since things were behind schedule but I wouldn't say I was bridezilla....
But I guess the closest I came to it was when DH and I stepped off the boat at CLM to go to cocktail hour- and I really wanted the most perfect shot of us getting off the boat and walking down the dock.
The second we got off the boat- NO JOKE - my mom is RIGHT THERE and says 'You have to take a picture with your aunt and uncle!' He obviously complained- my uncle is VERY sensitive (and honestly I have no patience for it)...and my mom of course couldn't wait. So here's my mom in the middle of this moment that I HAD to have photographed...and I yell 'LET THEM (the photographers) DO THEIR JOB!' Yeah I was mean...but GEEZ that irritated me!

Everyone thought I would be a Bridezilla bc I am such a Type A personality person to begin with, but I was very calm cool and collected throughout the whole process.. I was very proud of myself

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
I had many but none was worse then my dress We decided to get my dress at Paradise Bridal on a recommendation from a friend who had just gotten married and used them with no problem.
BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY WHOLE PLANNING!!!
First, we go in to order the lady says all of 2 words to me. Doesnt tell me what size she is ordering..nothing! Then when we look at it we wanted her to order a 4 b/c the 2 was too close to my measuremetns...she ordered a 2 anyway. We foudn a HP that I liked and asked that it be ordered to come in right away we wanted to pay for it in full. Months later I find out that it was never ordered, when it does come in its close but not it. So i sat in the store for 2 hours arguing with them. After 2 hours one of the ladies there actually said to me 'you are wrong this is waht you ordered' so i told her to take it and shove it..in front of plenty of people.
When my dress came in...it couldnt even be zippered, not even a shmidge. Regardless of that, 1 week before my wedding I had a fitting to make sure that my bustle was done. After an hour and a half of waiting, the woman that I had been dealing with comes and says to me 'i have to be honest with you, we have done nothing to your dress' uuum I freaked out. Uncontrollably. Everytime they did one thing to my dress they screwed up another, hence the 'final' fitting one week before, I knew I would need another fitting. I went int he next morning and of course something else needed to be done
I have NEVER wanted so badly to kick anyones azz in my life.
Here are pics of the dress before and after Before: you can see the back of the dress was stretched just to get the inside closed

OMG! I went there 2x's while dress shopping...1st time was a good experience...second, when i brought my BFF was HORRIBLE! This dumb a$$ sales chick did NOT listen to what i wanted as far as style or budget...didn't help me at all..she kept running off...and then...made comments about the dresses i was trying on like 'oh...i don't really like the style of that one..' (and it was one i LIKED)...and the all time best comment was 'That dress is perfect for a SECOND wedding'...i turned to her and said 'I know i am not the youngest bride here...but this is my FIRST wedding!' another Mom that was there turned to me & said 'who the heck is she to be telling us what looks good...look at what she is wearing!!!'...needless to say i did NOT get my dress there! haha...sorry they were idiots to you!!

My first experience there was WONDERFUL! Thats why I went there to order and I waited so long to order that I really didnt have the time to go anywhere else...otherwise that biotch that helped me would have gotten a few choice words before we walked out.
To make comments like that to you is insane! Some of the ladies there really ahve some nerve

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
I had 2 moments that i remember fondly:
#1. Was at DH...i made our invites...picture designing, then printing & cutting about 100 invites by hand...500 separate pieces of paper to cut & stuff since i did pocketfolds. Complete with bellybands printed with each guests names...now DH wants to 'help'. How hard could sealing the envelopes be, right? Well...he took the wetting tool & squuezed it so that the envelopes were soaked...then proceded to pile them on top of each other..and guess what...they stuck to each other...ohh...did i mention i addressed each envelope myself on the computer? Now i caught it at about 20 envelopes in...started screaming, cursing & throwing the ruined envelopes across the room in a rage (i was tired of working on them & just wanted to finish and lost it)...i had to re-do about 15 of the outer envelpopes & DH was no longer allowed to 'help'..we laugh about it now thank god!
#2. was the Tues before my Friday wedding..i was driving home from my Tae Kwon Do class when my friend informed me that she was pretty sure our other friend planned on dumping her kids at the babysitter's that i had hired for OOT guests (she was NOT OOT..and had over a year to find somone..she also has inlaws that live near her) Also keep in mind we hired enough sitters for the amount of kids we had...couldn't just 'add' kids at this point. As i continue driiving...now in a rage...DH calls me to 'warn' me that some more of his family is hanging out at our house, since they just arrived...they had been hanging out there since the weekend before the wedding, even though they were staying at a beautiful waterfront hotel. Oh and did i mention our house is small..2 bedrooms..one small livingroom & kicthen...that's it! All i wanted to do was come home, take a shower, watch some bad TV & go to bed...but no...i had a house full of freaking people & a babysitter situation. When i walked in the door I just went nuts yelling about how people with kids are fargin idiots & i am sick of this wedding planning, and everyone complaining about my 'no kids' rule, blah blah blah...needless to say the house cleared out about 20 minutes later..hahaha..i apologized to them the next day for losing my cool & turned out my friend had a babysitter...so i went crazy for nothing...well except all the people in my house..the bride needs her space people!!! haha

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
This pic was taken the day before the wedding.....I was a WHACK JOB about everything. My Mom was in the middle of putting the cake together. My Brother and Sister (foreground) whipped out their phones and made fun of me because I was being such a BIIITCHHH!
DH and i had a HUGE fight the nite b4 the wedding.....all because i had just finished the guestbook that day--and i said to him before we were going to go our separate ways at the hotel---and i asked him to grab it and make sure he took it with him in the limo on the way to the RH the next day
um yeah he was like 'why should i have to do it -- why can't you?' and i effing SNAPPED. i threw my entire overnite bag across the room and we had it out and i was going NUTS telling him that i planned everything--made the guestbook and the least he could do was taking the f**king book. of course we are both stubborn as hell and he refused to take it -- yeah it was baaaaaad
after i kicked DH out of the room---i locked myself in the bathroom crying while my MOH and friend were trying to tell me to come out. (btw my friend BROKE the door handle to the bathroom trying to get me to come out)
finally DH knocked on the room door again and we made up in the hallway. obviously we were having one of those 'stress getting to me moments'
btw -- he TOOK the guestbook in the end.
ding 1 for me!

Re: Post your 'Bridezilla Moments'!!!!!
I was honestly the calmest bride I did not flip out at all..... except for the one horrible bridezilla moment...
3 days before the wedding I went to get extensions done in my hair.. it took 3 hours and cost almost $500.... then, I went to pick up my dress and got stuck in 3 hours worth of traffic from the city and I had to be at the Watermill to drop off everything for the final appointment. I called my dad and asked if he could have the car packed with the favors and ready for when I get home so I could just leave. First of all I was pissed about the traffic, pissed at how my hair looked and I get out of the car and see that my father piled all my gable boxes on top of each other and some of them were squished.... I FLIPPED out... outside starting crying and yelling I literally threwa tantrum and my mom comes out and was like stop the neighbors are going to see you crying..... I yelled at the top of my lungs I dont give a F&*** ifhe see me crying... I was like I am not going to the watermill forget it. I cant bring the boxes like this... well I finally calmed down a bit.. After I left the watermill I came home and cried all night. because the extensions she put in my hair were supposed to be curly I washed my hair that night and the top, my natural hair was curly and the bottom was straight(the straight part was literally down to my butt and my natural hair was shoulder length. I woke up at like 6:00am and saw this... I went crazy I took a pair of scissors and chopped one side of my hair off. So the left side was up to my shoulders and my right side was down to my butt... LOL LOL (now that I think about it, it is soo funny) So at like 8:00 in the morning I am driving around trying to find any hair salon that was open this is 2 DAYS before my wedding.... so obviously the only thing open at that time is Hair cutters... I had my hair in a bun.. and OMG this is so embarassing I walked in and I was about to say I need a trim and I started crying so bad.. OMG it was horrible, I told them the whole story and I am getting married in 2 days.... these random ladies are trying to calm me down.. LOL LOL .. so they cut all my hair off and it was shoulder length.. ,.... and in the end it worked out I did not have long hair, but it was fine... I was just so pissed that I spent so much money and wasted all that time for nothing... Man that was funny now that I think about it.
