We went to the Sandals Grande in St Lucia. Loved it. Loved Sandals, loved St Lucia. We're definitely going back to St Lucia, but might try some of the other hotels.
First, this is my husband thinking 'I'll go waterskiing!' Then that's my husband, NOT waterskiing. They gave him five minutes of training, and as he's a weightlifter, he naturally pulled up on the bar, when he was supposed to let it pull him. He finally figured out what he was doing wrong, but we're going to save it for our next beach vacation. Then that's us after ziplining. Wow, that was fun. My husband said he felt like Batman. And that's us on the Atlantic coast on the way back.
Those next two are us at dinner at the restaurant right on the beach. It wasn't the best place for lunch as they were incredibly slooooow, which isn't great when you're hungry or want to get back to the beach, but it was lovely for dinner. Food was great, the view was amazing, the service was better, and I liked the music. Then that's a street in Gros Islet, a little fishing village nearby. We went there with a local friend of my husband that he knows from the Internet. She's incredibly sweet. I should post a pic of her, too. Anyway, we went to a street fair there, but it started pouring as you can see. The last is the St Lucian navy. We went on a cruise and saw them.
That's Jan and my husband--he knows her from an online forum. That's us on the land-sea cruise we took. The waterfall is the one in Romancing the Stone, if you've ever seen that movie. And the last is a picture I took off the lobby balcony the morning we left, about 6:30am. It was so gorgeous and clear. it's my desktop picture now!
That was taken when we first got there & we were waiting for our Room. Our first drinks.

We havent gone on our 'real' honeymoon yet...but we went to Manhattan for a long weekend afterwards and this is my favorite pic

I told DH I haaaaaaaaad to see him...though really I couldnt go up and take a pic with him..he was a little to touchy for my taste I will say however he has a nice butt
