Prayers Needed * UPDATE *
Hey girlies. Hope you are all having a happy new year!!!!
Tomorrow, I have a job interview with a brokerage firm. I really want this job and want this to work out!
Please send good vibes and prayers my way! Thanks so much!
I have been out of work since July. I am bored to death and I have become all sorts of lazy. I need a job!!!!!!!!! LOL. Seriously though, I appreciate the kind thoughts guys. Please, keep 'em coming!
Okay girls. It'sTuesday- the day of my interview. I am surprisingly calm. I hope this goes okay. I am starting to get ready now. I want to be SUPER prepared for this! Thanks again for the prayers!
So I went on the interview. They realllllly liked me. They had two more to interview and they didn't even want to. It seems like I may have landed the job. I know. I am thinking way to positive. BUT if I don't get it, I will be fine as things happen for a reason.
I am concerned with a few things. At my previous job, I was SPOILED. I had 30 days of vacation time a year. This place gives 2 weeks plus 6 sick days. My former boss was the sweetest most understanding person ever. This guy is nice but incredibly successful but hold a type a personality. He is very demanding. While I do have a strong personality, I am scared. LOL. This job pays WELL and the people that work there have been there for a VERY long time. So those are pluses. Not to mention it's only 4 miles away from my house. And the office manager says the boss there is incredibly generous and they always reward with nice bonuses. So, as much as I am VERY excited, I am SO nervous if I was to take this job. It is a great job. I just have been spoiled at MetLife and I think that ruined me. LOL, any advice is appreciated guys. Let me know if you have experienced a laid back job and made a transition to a very demanding job. How did that affect you? Was it worth it?
